My wife got a recommendation for Mike on a moms group. We just wanted an annual A/C checkup. He came out-- did a thorough check, adjusted some things & was done within 45 minutes. He didn't try to upcharge for anything and he even said the A/C motor sounded a bit loud BUT that he doesn't like to just replace things willy-nilly-- to just keep an eye on it. Love that he checked everything out and didn't try to sell us a bunch of stuff we didn't needed and charged exactly what he quoted over the phone. Thanks, Mike!
Ive had many experience's with AC repair companies and I can Honestly say the owner Mike Nelson is truly amazing! I'm not use to having any service company dealing with my home appliances until this company showed up! Mike and his worker were so easy to setup an appointment even though he was so busy to help me and my family fix a air handler that kept blowing a fuse when the temperature outside was 39 degrees. He was compassionate enough to make time some children would not freeze up at night. He troubleshooted the problem within 20 minutes and charged us a very reasonably price, especially considering it was during the HOLIDAYS!!! I'm still in shock!! AMAZING!! Too bad this is such a rare find these days where everything is about money and not Great Service! I dont usually write reviews because I don't like being negative and it juts brings me down! I was compelled to write this because I so appreciate this kind of service!! Thank you Mike!!! Nelson Air condition Service is #1 team!
Anyone who has an air conditioner that goes out in this heat needs a reliable air conditioning man. Made one call he picked it up on the first ring and was already in Mandarin with us. So appreciate the wonderful service and repair. You people out there looking please give Mike Nelson a call

I was referred to Nelson Air Conditioning by a neighbor as a veteran friendly company with quality and integrity at the forefront of their services - they exceeded expectations! I contacted Nelson to service my AC units, they communicated their arrival schedule and held true. The service was quick but thorough, with explanation on what was done, tips & tricks to extend the unit’s life expectancy, as well as initial diagnostics I can do before a service call. Unfortunately, that service request came sooner than expected. Nelson responded to my late night request for service on my air conditioning not blowing cold. Nelson arrived at 10am the next day to diagnose the problem, homeowner error on a recent install on a smart thermostat - dumb rookie mistake! Nelson was in and out in 10-15 with no charge! Really appreciate their responsiveness and customer focused approach. Hope I don’t have many air condition issues in the further, but am comforted knowing Nelson is a phone call away!
Mike did a great job on new unit after 5 year I had a problem with the blower board. I call Mike, he came over and fix it, honoring the warranty I m very please. thank you Mike, God bless
Never used this company for their air conditioning services but now I never will nor will I recommend them. One of their employees in their company vehicle was driving extremely wreck less, tailgating vehicles, no blinker, weaving in and out of traffic and going about 70 in 45. Licenses plate ended in X53.
Mike did an absolutely amazing job. When our 14 year old unit failed, in the middle of summer of course, he came out the same day I called him to assess the issue. I received three different estimates from local companies and he beat them all. The day I called him to commence the job, he came out the same afternoon and installed a brand new unit. Quality work and the most responsive service; excellent small/local business. Also, gives a discount for military/first responders! Thank you Mike!!!
So disappointed with Mike and this entire experience. First time homeowners, bought new unit Nov 2019. Have a loft upstairs that was 88° (daughters room) Mike had disconnected the dual zone and dampers during install. After installing upstairs stayed hot, unit never shut off, Mike returned >10 times to manually adjust dampers, change thermostat, clean drain, clamp on blown off duct (that he swore wasnt the issue). We were told it's to hot outside for the unit to keep up and cool the house and that's normal , he refused to reconnect dampers to see if that would possibly help with the issue...Then We were told ducts will need to be done, add more ducts ...We asked for cost and a month later finally got back to us,we agreed stating ONLY if you guarantee that this will fix the problems...We have called Mike to schedule the job and never heard back.. I'm laid off from my job, room still 84°, A/C always at 74°,$5260.00 later....Awful buisness to take a customers money and leave a job incomplete. Know how to troubleshoot and resolve all issues guaranteed, or stand behind your work and take your product and return the customers money.
Horrible customer service!! Owner NEVER called back after install nor 6 month nor 1 year nor 2 year ! Figures, 2nd Brand New top of the line purchase and NO ONE EVER SEVISED THE UNIT AFTER INSTALL!! FURIOUS!!! DON'T USE THEM!!!

Mike installed a new unit for us last year, we have had several issues and can not get a call back. We now have no heat and will have to call another company to come look at the unit since Mike can't be bothered. Buyer beware once he has your money good luck getting a call back.
Don't just take my word for it, call him when your a/c breaks and see for yourself how great he is!
Nelson Air Conditioning company is the best by far of all the air-conditioning companies I have ever dealt with. And there have been many for my homes and rental properties. Mike, the owner is very honest, dependable and prompt. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customer is taken care of. And pricing is always very fair.
Honest company with good integrity. I like that the business is small, and the same person who gave me the estimate (Mike Nelson) also did the install. He is very careful to install the system correctly, and is good at explaining & troubleshooting . I used him for my AC replacement (yesterday) because someone else in my family used him too. Their AC is now 2 yrs old and is still working great.

I own an animal hospital in the area. The AC went out in the back boarding kennels, so I called Nelson Air conditioning and they were able to come out right away, diagnose and fix the problem in less than 45 minutes. Highly recommended and will use again.
