Most fireplace service/installers would not come look at our fireplace unless they were the ones who originally installed it. Mr. T's was happy to come out and fix up our fireplace and make it safe for the house and family.

Waited almost a month for these guys to come to service my fireplace and then they sent the "B" team. Had to replace several parts at significant unexpected cost and then the technician could not get rid of an obnoxious hum unless the flame was set at a level which was too high. When he contacted his boss to discuss it, his boss asked "is the owner within earshot". Basically told the technician to get it as good as he could and "call it good". All this for more than $700. Don't use Mr T's if you can find someone else.

Amazing service in every way! Ben & Mike are polite, kind, took shoes off, pads down on carpet for protection & went through the fireplace with a fine tooth comb. Discovered wrong parts, replace all, cleaned every inch of fireplace. You will be extremely happy with Mr. T’s. Even called the owner to verify correct information before proceeding. Awesome service! 👍

Wouldn't allow Mr.Ts or Steve near our fireplace(s) again. We promptly paid before they left but then got a follow up saying we now owed more because they "made a mistake" on the invoice and meant to charge for an additional 30 minutes. We paid over $800 for service that took about 2.5 hours so I was a bit put off by this. Called him back to discuss and let him know I didn't agree with being charged more after already paying an invoice in full on the spot. He proceeded to (yell) and say he'll charge me late fees (for an invoice I already paid) if I didn't pay it immediately. I told him that seemed unreasonable. He then said he will now be docking his employee's pay to compensate for the error. All of this over...$100. I would have met him in the middle on the discrepancy but unfortunately wasn't able to get a word in edge wise over his frantic yelling. Ultimately, he had a hard time having an adult conversation and hung up on me before I even had a chance to propose splitting the difference on his error

Have used Mr. T in the past and was happy. Called them again (Feb 2022). Will never call them again. Not sure what has changed with the ownership but have been ripped off for the last time from Mr. T. DO NOT USE THEM!

On time, wore a mask & removed shoes without being asked. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and went above and beyond helping us with our fireplace. He had all the parts needed to repair our fireplace & was also exceptionally tidy/clean. Very reasonable rates. Very happy customer. Highly recommend & would hire again.

Purchased this house recently, it has a Majestic insert gas fireplace. The pervious owner is an elderly woman who didn't know much about what was serviced here. I called around and found Mr.T's to be the only place that would service this unit. All the others said "If we didn't install it, we don't service it" I guess they don't need the business? Anyway, Mr. T's sent 2 tech's out to clean and test and adjust the unit, they did a good job. I was charged $220, for this routine service. No repairs were made except they replaced 2 small paddle type connectors because the wire was visible before it entered the connector. Not a safety issue really, if you know enough not to touch both wires at the same time. This was all hidden by a cover. I was a bit miffed/gouged by the $220 price. I read online that routine service for these things should be $100 or less. This was in my opinion routine service. Maybe the owner will respond and rebuff me for not being a gas fireplace expert? Sorry....

Our fireplace needed an upgrade and we wanted a remote control for easier/safer handling. We were very happy to work with this family business. Communication was great and we scheduled a time during the busiest time of the year. The owner, Steve, and his son came to evaluate the work needed. We needed a new fireplace insert and the remote. We also learned from Steve tips to extend the life of our new fireplace. Because it was the busiest time and because of COVID, supply chain was delayed for the new part. Steve made sure he kept us up to date with the progress of the parts availability and offered us other options for parts. The installation was smooth, they cleaned the fireplace thoroughly and the part we selected looks beautiful. We still had a few weeks of cold weather to try and enjoy the new insert and remote. Very happy with this company, highly recommended.
