I used Mr Furnace 3 years ago for an a/c install and had the best service from start to finish so I decided to go with them for a new furnace. What a mistake. The sales guy spoke to my boyfriend and addressed his questions more than mine. Note: my boyfriend is not the home owner nor did he purchase the furnace. There was an issue with my chimney so the chimney liner wasn't installed. No big deal. The workers removed the chimney cap and never replaced it. It took over a week to correct the issue and I had to reach out numerous times to get it resolved. This is unacceptable as rain can make the chimney worse. I also didn't want birds making nests in it. The next issue came with the refund. Again it took weeks with back and forth to get the refund for the chimney liner. The straw that broke the camels back was when I was speaking to the office girl, she put me on the phone with some guy who went on & on about the chimney issue. I might be a girl, but I have a full understanding of the problem and exactly how to resolve it. I just want my refund. He proceeded to ask for my boyfriend who again is not the home owner and did not pay for the furnace. His name is not on any of the paperwork and is completely irrelevant to this job. I also found out that I was overcharged for the chimney liner as they tried refunding less than I paid for it. I've never experienced such blatant discrimination in my life. From the sales guy, to the workers incompetence, to the refund process dealing with this company as a whole has been a headache. I don't know what happened in the past 3 years, but this company went down hill. Would not recommend to any female home owners
