Lost my original guys who installed / maintained my furnace after 14 years. Went looking for another reliable local outfit to perform a pre-winter tune-up. Finally found some leads on Angie’s List and put in for some bids. This was around 9:30 in the evening. Ninety seconds later I get a call from MoonStar. After two more minutes we’ve got an appointment for the following afternoon. Very understanding of my situation, absolute straight talkers, and quoted me a perfectly reasonable price. Bobby shows up the next day, prompt, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and a dog lover to boot. Extra points for that. He not only explained what he was going to do, but also provided some tips along the way. No surprises, no add ons, no gouging. My little tune-up may not have been the biggest job in the world, but these guys made me feel like it was the most important. I will call MoonStar back next season without a second thought. Highly recommended.
Very happy with Charlie, had a communication issue previously, Charlie called and checked on the issue and fixed it. he sent nice guy and knowledgeable employee Bobby, whom did a maintenance on my tankless water heater which I’m very happy about. Will keep Charlie and Moonstar on my list to call for any issues with it.. Highly recommend…

Highly recommend Moonstar mechanical. Had a issue with my hot water heater. The response to my on- line inquiry resulted in an immediate call back and a schedule for an in-home free estimate the next morning. Company was very responsive and understanding to situation. Responsive to text messages and willing to work with me and extended warranty company. Very professional at every turn. Bobby came to replace my water heater. He was professional and knowledgeable. Very polite and easy going. He answered all questions and explain the replacement process. Will definitely recommend and use MOONSTAR MECHANICAL if needed in the future. Will also recommend this company to my in home warranty company- Cinch since they could not find a provider on Staten Island! Good job Moonstar Mechanical and thanks for restoring my hot water!
after having my furnace and hotwater tank tuned up for the season, the tech suggested it was time to replace hot water heater. We found Moonstone on Angi's list. It was not an emergency, but they returned my call within minutes and scheduled installation the same day, at 5pm. Professional, neat, courteous technician did the installation in a little over an hour. Nothing was left, area was perfectly clean, a pleasure. And very reasonably priced with their work guaranteed. All such a positive experience!

Recently had the pleasure of using MoonStar Mechanical to change my Air Conditioning Unit, Water Heater, and furnace. Charlie, whom we spoke to on the phone gave a fair price and addressed all my questions and concerns. Bobby and Anthony were our technicians. They were very professional, clean, efficient and personable. They completed the job without disrupting the entire household, checked to be sure everything was working properly and were always on time. They provided excellent service and we will highly recommend this company to anyone who needs this type of work done.
Came in the late hour to inspec ACunit that blew. Was able to order new unit and replace it next morning. Bobby was very fast and efficient.

I've been using them ever since I moved into my home which has a lot of older pipes and heating system and they have done excellent work with helping my HVAC system run smoothly. I use them for all my properties as well as my friends and family. Would recommend to anyone on Staten Island looking for a professional and pleasant experience to help fix any problems from Heating/Boilers to leaks and clogged drains. They also installed ductless A/C units over the summer which saved me a lot on my electricity bill . Great company!!
