We’ve been stood up by techs twice in two months (separate issues). Very frustrating when you’re sleeping in a hot house, and want to get A/C back quickly!

I really wanted to like and trust this place because of the google reviews I saw. The reviews were the main reason I chose this company over the others that I called. While I was at work, my boyfriend called to have my water heater checked to see if it could be fixed or needed to be replaced. He was told it was $120 to diagnose the problem and that would go towards any service performed. This seemed fair for the time it would take the company to send someone to diagnose the problem. All people we talked to and dealt with were very friendly. However, the contractors pulled up in a van without the company name. This seemed a little sketchy, but not a huge red flag since they were outside contractors. Then when the contractors were inside my house, they didn’t try to diagnose anything just gave a quote to replace. They didn’t check the heating element or the thermostat. The contractor looked at it without any type of testing and said it needed to be replaced. After work, I found out they quoted to replace without checking for the problem, I declined service. My boyfriend was told he still needed to pay $120 for a “service fee”. I have no problem with a diagnostic or service fee, but to charge me $120 without looking at my water heater feels like I’m being ripped off so that they can make more money off of replacing rather than making a repair. I would not recommend a company that wants your money without providing a service.
I called Monty today to fix my A/C that wouldn’t come on a 90 degree day. This is the most honest and respectable guy in the business. He arrived at my home within an hour after my call. I will never look elsewhere for my HVAC needs. I will also highly recommend him to friends and family. His charge was very reasonable too. Thanks Monty
Our furnace stopped working at 9 p.m. on a frigid February night. After calling two other supposedly 24-hour businesses I tried Monty. He asked to listen to the furnace try to turn on and started to diagnose the problem over the phone. Half an hour later he was at our townhouse in Warrenville and by 10:30 p.m. we had a working furnace, repaired at a price that felt like the deal of a lifetime. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
I have been using Monty for years now and Monty always tells it like it is with no hidden costs or up charges. What I really like is he tells you the cost upfront and treats his costumers with respect.
Monty just serviced my central air unit today. Others tried to say that I needed to replace it because of this and that. I said no way, it's not even 10 years old. So I called up Monty and he repaired it and the ac is like new again. Real friendly guy and very humble. Will definitely recommend him to others. Honest and professional. Thanks again Monty
Monty's just repaired our air conditioner in a pinch. He told us his price before he performed any services which we liked. I also scheduled him to come out and check our furnace for the winter. Monty's is a good local HVAC company where the owner is still very involved. Highly recommended.
Monty just fixed our air conditioner in 30 minutes despite the last company I had out quoting me $4,800 for a new AC. I called Monty's Heating And Cooling per my friend's recommendation and Monty said he wanted to come out and look before even giving me a quote over the phone for a new system. I couldn't be happier, thank you!
We called because our A/C was blowing warm air today and also sounded funny. Monty offered to come out and clean the unit and diagnose the problem promptly. Repairs were done same day.
Wow I'm very impressed with this company. I chose them because of their price to come out and because they could offer same day service. Monty's did great work installing our new air conditioner.
