After attempting to contact several other AC repair companies, Omar is the only one who answered and came that day to diagnose the problem. He was able to get a new AC unit installed the next day and was on time. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely use them again!
Mr. Monroe provided excellent service and expertise. I purchased a ductless ac unit. It was supposed to be a diy project but after reading over the instructions I knew it was too much for me. I contacted several of the companies that run commercials on a regular basis. None of them wanted to come out because I purchased my own equipment. After finding several positive reviews for Mr. Monroe I contacted him during his off hours. I explained my situation to Mr. Monroe and he agreed to come and take a look on a Sunday. Mr. Monroe agreed to install the equipment and kept me informed along the way. I am extremely pleased with the services I received.
Attention to detail would be minor comment when speaking about the work Mr.Omar does! I’ve never been so comfortable with an air condition service! I own an apartment complex in lithonia and was expecting to be raked across the coals but no! Not at all!! The cost and experience was great! He gives you tips so you can solve your own minor problems without making you feel slow lol I highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Monroe Heating & Air! I had a bad experience with another company (they treated me like I was dumb for asking questions and tried to pressure me into buying a new AC system before I was ready), so I called Monroe Heating & Air and I am so glad I did! Omar spent so much time explaining everything and answering all of my questions, and he did it with a friendly and professional demeanor. He gave me a very fair price on the equipment I needed, and had it installed the next day. I highly recommend this company!
Had an emergency request for service yesterday, and I called Omar up, as we use to be neighbors and he came out within a couple hours even though he had his grill going with his dinner on it. That's what you call service!!! You just don't see service like that often. Thank you Omar for getting our AC back on track. The dogs/puppies also thank you.
Honest, no-nonsense, and good at what he does. He oversaw the install a new heat pump within 3 days of my initial call. The installers were respectful of my home, and did the job right. I would not hesitate to recommend Monroe Heating and Air Conditioning.
Service was great - diagnosed what we needed, was very honest, installed all in one day. Came back out to test once it was hotter to make sure AC working well. I texted a few weeks later thinking it wasn’t working (ended up being user error!) and he showed up within 30minutes to make sure it was in fact working. Would absolutely recommend due to excellent service, honesty, and competitive pricing.
Our HVAC system died on us, in 90+ degree July heat. Even though we weren't able to call Omar at Monroe Heating and Air Conditioning until 9 AM on a Friday morning, he was and he was able to work us in for a service call and was at the house by 1 PM. He clearly explained everything that he was looking at and evaluating, the issues with the system, and gave us transparent options on what we could do to fix it. All options were clear, with full price quotes. We ultimately went for a full system installation since the prior HVAC system warranty was expired. They did the installation the next day (a Saturday). Everything was done professionally, accurately, and quickly, with no hidden or added charges or fees - the quote we received was what we paid. They hauled away all of the old equipment, got the system up and working, addressed some other small issues (including the installation of a new return in an area of the house that did not have one) in about 7 hours. Omar kept us up-to-date the whole time, gave us a clear tour and explanation of all the components of the system, and left us with a fully functioning air conditioner. We had a Great experience and expert service with Monroe Heating & Air. We had a new furnace and hot water heater installed on the same day. The job was done quickly and efficiently. All areas were left clean and tidy. The best part was the ending cost was exactly what was quoted from the start. We would highly recommend Monroe Hearing & Air and we will definitely call of them for any future work needed.
When our A/C went out on the hottest weekend of the summer Omar was out to give us an estimate on that Saturday. Sunday he had a crew at my house and the job was completed that day. We slept comfortably in our own bed that night. Highly recommend Monroe Heating and Cooling.
Installed a new furnace and hot water heater. Was timely and professional. Did a Thorough inspection of the system Before & After and educated me on how to use the system properly and how it was installed. Excellent custmer service went above and beyond by installing and upgraging my thermostat. Will recommend and use him again for future projects.
If there were A+ ratings, Omar Monroe would get them. The very old central air-conditioning unit in my rental home quit, and I called him because of his Angie's List ratings. He came out that day to look at the problem, explained everything to me, and I decided to replace the AC and the furnace, which were the same age. He gave me a phenomenal price on a new Rheem HVAC system, came out the NEXT DAY and installed it, including replacing lines, repairing the plenum, installing insulation, replacing the old outside breaker with a quick disconnect unit, and installing a condensate pump. He not only cleaned up after himself, he left the crawl space area where the furnace is located in far better shape than it was. My tenant was very happy not to be without AC in Georgia in the summerI. Omar is also a very nice person. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing HVAC work.
I would recommend their service. I've had two good experiences with Omar and this company. Average price and excellent trustable service. Can't beat same day availability in tough situations.
Y E S , I'll rate this company (5) STAR, just like a song from my High-school days, 1950's Abt. "Dwight David Eisenhower" a.k.a.- (IKE). It went something like this," He was a 5-Star General when He was overseas, now He's a 5-Star President Back in Washington"; but don't ask me to sing it! Well the owner of the company, Omar Monroe came out to a "Dirty Ole White-boy's" home, who was in desperate need of help, having caused his own plight by allowing his pipes to freeze during the big freeze @ end of Feb. 2014, so I'm sure He had a back-log of jobs, but Mr. Monroe answered this Sr. Citizen's S.O.S. and came to the his rescue without even knowing if this ole man had the money to cover the cost of the Parts (Water Heater & expansion tank + pipes etc.), much less his labor. But He did it with such expertise seldom seen, and done to perfection. So this Ole Boy ain't soo-dirty no more, taking Hot-showers regularly.
