Fantastic service and value. I had a really complicated and intermittent furnace fan problem which took some work to troubleshoot. Morris listened carefully and then did some impressive and thoughtful diagnostic work to find the problem. I'm pretty sure if he hadn't been so careful, and willing to listen, we would have ended up replacing more parts than necessary in the furnace. Scheduling was easy and quick and prices were very competitive.
Incompetent and utter failure! I called MME Home Services on 6/1/2020. I specifically asked if their “team members” had experience working on Breezeair Evaporative Coolers (swamp coolers). The lady that answered the phone replied “Yes” to my question. Morris, the owner of the company arrived, and spent 2 hours working on the evaporative cooler. He was unable to fix the evaporative cooler. Morris said he would try to obtain a replacement motor and a replacement computer system from a distributor in Denver. He a few days later and spent another 2 hours installing the 2 replacement parts. The unit’s fan turned on, but then the entire system would shut down after a couple of minutes! He even explained that although the motor was supposed to pull 1.5 amps, it was actually pulling 1.7 amps. Bad news! The original invoice was for $814 but he failed to fix the problem! He left and was not able to return for a few more days. He then explained that he could replace the entire system for another $2000-$3000 more. Well, anyone could ask, “If you cannot fix it, and you charged us $814, how can we trust spending another $2000-$3000?” In the end Morris gave us a check for $400 because of the fact that he was unable to fix the evaporative cooler. He still charged us for 4 hours of work. We lost over $400, one week of time, and the system is still broken! We were extremely disappointed in Morris’ incompetence and utter failure to fix the problem over period of an entire week! How would you feel? Morris proved to us that he cannot fix Breezeair Evaporative coolers. We would never recommend MME Home Services to anyone after this bad experience!
Do not use MME Home Services, owned by Morris Ellis. He was doing plumbing for a bathroom remodel for us and in the stages of final plumbing, he did not bring any helpers to move a 280 pound (!) tub and has broken the plumbing under the tub, cracked the ceiling and it's useless and requires major repairs. Additionally, he installed a tankless hot water heater 6 weeks ago and it failed this morning. We had another plumber out and discovered install was botched and the unit was flooding because of Morris not installing a filter and draining mechanism. When we reached out (a few times) we were told there were health concerns and that he was on the verge of bankruptcy and that he was not able to fix the tub or anything else. He has not stood behind his work and caused a great deal of damage and additional expense for us. We had been happy with his services for the past few years but this has been an awful turn of events and I want to warn other people not to use him as he will try to get payment for inferior and unsound work. I have filed this with the Better Business Bureau and we now have to taking legal action against him to cover the damages he has caused.
Fast response to the problem and knew quickly what was needed after checking out the furnace. Would definitely recommend this person.
Overpriced. $314 to replace a thermostat on a gas water heater.
Well this review requires you to give it a star rating. It will not allow you to put no stars. So I had to give it a 1 star even though MME deserves a negative star rating.We have had so many problems with out furnace and a/c unit that was installed by Morris. Several service calls were required and still Morris did not get it right. It took the factory rep coming out with Morris for the rep to find the issue and correct problem. Morris chose a system for us with a heat pump because the other one was on back ordered. that is where they problems started and incorrect wiring when installed by Morris. Heat pumps on a/c units are not used in Colorado but Morris swore this was upgrade unit and better. We continue to have issues with the unit and excessive vibrations. I called today to schedule service call again for them to fix issue due to poor installation just for the lady in office to advise me that they will charge for coming out. If you are in the market for furnace or a/c unit save yourself the headache and go with a company that stands behind their work and actually installs things correct the 1st time. I own a large business and I dont understand how companies like MME are still in business. Customer service is the biggest part of it. So hopefully reading this review will change some of your minds and go with a company that actually is professional and knowledgeable. Stay away from doing business with Morris and MME.

Morris is very knowledgeable. He installed an entire Navien hot water system for our 100year old farm house that replaced an ancient dead boiler and also replaces the hot water heater too. One unit does it all. He did 100 feet of new copper work and his attention to the details was really impressive. Morris takes pride in his work and is a professional in all ways.
Morris from MME is well rounded and fair. I would choose them for plumbing and HVAC services in Thornton.
Absolutely amazing service done to my furnace and air conditioner. The technician knew what he was talking about.
We used MME home services for several jobs in Oct 2016. Morris replaced an air conditioner as well as ran a gas line for a new gas fireplace. VERY happy with both the quality of service and the reasonable prices. Highly recommend MME.
I was assisted by a gentleman named Morris who was very friendly and professional. Despite my furnace being 70+ years old, he was very knowledgeable about the issue and fix and got everything back to working order in a very short amount of time. I'd definitely recommend MME Home Services to help fix furnaces of any age.
