It was a great experience. The technicians were very professional, timely and courteous. They spend additional time to insure my AC system is adequately repaired without changing me additional fee. They provide the most competitive rate.
If you're needing HVAC services, look no further than Mike's Heating and Cooling. Mike was highly professional and did an outstanding job with a relocation and installation of a new HVAC system for our home. Mike was very honest in his assessment of our needs and gave us a fair price for the high quality unit we wound up purchasing. He and his team installed new custom ductwork in a tricky spot that required care and precision. After the install, it looked more like artwork than ductwork. Mike's team was very tidy and cleaned up after themselves. Our home is now very comfortable. Mike really cares about his work and his customers. It is getting very hard to find good and honest people like Mike in the service industry. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!
Mike's Heating and Cooling consistently exceeds expectations. In the last six months, I have needed a new HVAC (in emergency circumstances, as the polar vortex was here) and a new water heater. Mike is incredibly responsive, kind, and fair. As a single woman, it is hard to find companies that don't try to take advantage of you. I trust Mike to be straight with me. He cares about his customers and his work. He's also just a wonderfully friendly and kind man. I cannot recommend Mike's Heating and Cooling highly enough-- and I wish more companies conducted business like he does!
I moved into a house that needed significant cleaning and repair to the furnace. Mike came the same day, took the time to explain and educate me on the issues he found and diagnosed. The furnace was incorrectly installed and ducts connected incorrectly with incorrect materials, etc. Mike found ways for me to have the issues addressed without overhauling the system. He was thorough, reasonably priced, and his crew, Alex and Carlos, came for the follow up appointment on-time, they were efficient with their work, and cleaned up properly after the work. Will have them back for the AC servicing.
A/C fixed fast and really good price
Mike was such a huge help - we had to get a whole new HVAC, AC and water cylinder, as well as move it from it’s original position. He was upfront, honest and super helpful. Him and his team completed the work when they said they would, and ensured everything was installed correctly (turns out there were so many cut corners with the old units). Highly recommend!
Very grateful to Mike's Heating & Cooling! Our air conditioner went out in the middle of the busy Labor Day weekend. Although we called Mike late in the afternoon, Mike and his team still came out the same day. He diagnosed the issue and worked quickly over the weekend to find us a new unit. Within a few days, our air was back on! Mike clearly explained the problem, provided fast and kind service, and the price was less than expected. We are very appreciative of his work!
I contacted this company as it was listed on my Google search in my area. I was very pleasant and asked him if he service Silver city New Mexico and he told me I was stupid and hung the phone up on me. Very unprofessional
Mike installed a new HVAC system in my house December 18, 2020. I'm receiving information from my Ecobee stating "high humidity" in my home. I've called Mike's Heating on his cell and office for 3 weeks and both numbers answering machine comes on and Statesville leave a message. However, the mailbox is full on both lines. I have no way to get in contact with Mike. If I have someone else look @ my HVAC unit -- I will forfeit my warranty. I have put in a complaint with the BBB. This is utterly ridiculous. Who installs a new unit in your home and don't maintain the unit.
I called at 2pm, they had someone here by 4pm, and MY HOUSE WAS COOLED BY 5pm!!! Alex was super professional, diligently checked any possible source of our issue inside and outside, and was able to make a fix on the spot - in a wk of 90 degree days this was vital! Happy to recommend them or use them again if ever needed.

Mike and his team are responsive professional and stand behind his work. They spent an entire day replacing my old AC with a new cooling system in my hot attic. Mike is patient and stays as long as it takes to solve the problem to get the job done. I highly recommend him for your heating cooling issues.
Mike came to my house within an hour from my call to give me an estimate which was considerably less than the first estimate I received. We scheduled a day and he and his associate came and did the work -- installing a 12x12 return and a couple vents in my basement -- in a couple of hours. It looks and works great and they cleaned up after they were done. Would definitely recommend Mike and I will be having him do more work for me in the spring!
I have been using Mike's for many years. This has included replacing the system. Mike keeps both the heating and A/C in shape with regular inspections and maintenance. Couldn't ask for a nicer person or more professional service. Can't go wrong with Mike Z.
Mike's installed a new heater and air-conditioning unit for us. He came on time and did the whole job in one day and did great job. I recommend Mikes without any reservations.
Mike and his team came in and replaced my AC and Furnace in one day. They prepared the site, removed all the old equipment and materials and cleaned the place up when they were done. Mike had a team of 4. Two worked outside, and two were in the basement. They wore booties in the house laid down drop cloths everywhere and made sure that nothing got scratched. They gave us a fair price and through in several extras! They team was polite, professional and efficient. I was so impressed that I also signed up for a service contract, because I want to have Mike take care of my system for the next 20 years.
All the compliments mentioned in previous reviews are shared by me! Mike came out within an hour of calling about our broken AC, he explained things well and got the job done two days later. His prices were within the range we had been expecting.

Mike installed our system several years ago and everything was great for a long time. We lost cooling over the weekend and Mike responded same day and got us back up quickly. Great service and pricing. Highly recommend.
Mike's Heating & Cooling installed my new central A/C and gas furnace two years ago at a great price that no other HVAC companies were able to match. Their installation work is top notch and customer service was amazing. I was so impressed by their customer service, I signed up for their maintenance package. Mike contacted me personally to remind me that my spring service is due. I never had a company that initiated service call, this is another positive opinion about this company for me.
