We were very pleased with our experience. Replaced condenser and heater, but not ducting. They were thorough in explaining options and the estimate, as well as being honest that replacing ducts, in our case, was notworthit. They, unfortunately for them, had to be here nearly 12 hours due to some issues with prior set up. Nothing was Mercury's fault. But they were troopers and maintained professionalism and friendliness throughout. Newer company but founders in HVAC for many combined decades. Definitely give them a call and get a quote.
Very professional and affordable guys! Ian went above and beyond in not only helping me install some stuff and tune up my hvac system, but also helped me inspect my ducts and crawl space for a disturbing influx of giant flies. Long story short A++ for service. Thanks Mercury!
We thought we had an issue with our ductwork, and Ian did an outstanding job of walking us through the process. Ultimately, he did some minor maintenance on the furnace (that we hadn't even known to ask for), but he was very open about what he was looking for, and even took videos of what he saw in the attic to show us the state of our unit/ducts. He gave us very frank advice about the age of the unit and whether some of the options were worth the money. I know who I'm going to call the next time we've got an A/C or heating issue.
These are my go-to guys for any HVAC issues are our home. They've been out a few other times to inspect and fix various issues but this most recent job they replaced our entire system in 2 days with a new 2 zone system. Ian is super knowledgeable and gave us a few options. We really appreciate his design considerations given most contractors only want to replace with a new larger unit and call it a day. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a responsive, reliable, and experienced HVAC contractor.
Needed to get A/C installed and contacted Mercury Heating & Air, and they were able to come by and install a new A/C a few days later. They did an excellent job and it’s working great! They were also very professional and punctual, which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for HVAC services.
They were terrific! They came out the day after I called. First took apart the old heater to see if it could be repaired. Nope, needed an expensive new part and they indicated that furnace was near the end of its expected life and that I could get a more efficient one. No hard sell, just here's how it would benefit over the years, and so I decided to get a more efficient new furnace. Very professional, came on time, made sure everything worked and cleaned up everywhere they worked. What more can you ask? They were great. And now my house is nice and toasty with a much quieter and efficient furnace, thanks!
Look no further...these guys are awesome. We were in need of a furnace/AC/ductwork upgrade and decided to go with a dual-fuel system so sent out for several quotes. A couple of local companies came out and without so much as looking under the house gave lowball quotes but no guarantees. It was obvious to me they didn't assess any issues they might run into and the bill would get jacked up. Ian from Mercury came out and as part of the free quote crawled under the house, up into the attic, and over the course of an hour looked closely into everything from electrics to access. He gave a "no surprise" quote which wasn't the lowest but which, based on his real assessment of the job, was guaranteed not to go up. He talked me through the equipment he'd install and the internet confirmed they were excellent units, so I booked them to come out in a couple weeks to do a 4-day install. Ian and Jason and their crew arrived on the day we had arranged and went right to work...setting up drop cloths and wearing boot covers to keep everything tidy while they worked. The whole crew was friendly and easy to have around our house for a few days. At the end of each day they cleaned up after themselves and left everything impressively neat. It was a "no surprise" quote but there was a surprise...the planned expansion of the return vent couldn't happen due to roof architecture and this might affect the performance of the new units, but rather than say "well that's good enough" they came up with an alternate plan which involved installing a separate filter unit not included in the quote. I'm sure it cost them extra to install it but it was never mentioned AND there was no addition to the final bill. I paid exactly what they quoted. Bottom line: they did a 4-day job in 3 days, were friendly and easy to work with, and had massive integrity around their "no surprise" guarantee. I had my condo tenant call me at 6:00PM during a cold spell, and said the Furnace wasn't working. I had planned to replace the 30 year old HVAC this Spring but needed help ASAP. I called Jason at Mercury and he said he could be out first thing the next morning. He showed up at 8:00 and diagnosed the problem and temporarily got the heat back on. I requested a proposal for a complete HVAC system. He was able to get the furnace in the next day (23rd of Dec.) before the holiday and then installed the AC and replaced the duct work, which was falling apart, on Jan 3-4. They were on time and kept me informed of the progress. This is the 3rd time I've had them replace HVAC systems for me at other locations and each time they have been amazing. I highly recommend them. PS. I had an inspector come out at one location before I sold it and they even commented on how good of a job the installers did on the HVAC.

We had our heater inspected for a service and were told that it had a crack and needed to be replaced. We were referred to Ian Hazelwood of Mercury Heating and Air by a friend who was very pleased with their work. Ian spent a lot of time explaining our situation and giving us several options to choose from for replacing our 24 year old heater and air conditioning systems. He scheduled the work and did it within a very short time frame. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of Ian and his team.
I've been in construction for 35 years and they are all very professional and conscientious of they're installation. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone.
Jason at Mercury Heating and Air has always done a great job. He responds within the day to phone calls. In spite of the heat he was able to fit me in within a few days on this visit. Mercury Heating and Air prices are very reasonable. I have used this business before and I will use it again. Update: I’ve used Mercury Heating and Air again. The air handler needed replacing after 22 years. Again, Jason did a great job. He is diligent and reasonable. I highly recommend this company.
I don’t usually write reviews but this company really impressed me. They are professional, knowledgeable, and most of all honest. I will definitely use them again for all of my heating and AC needs. Ian came out to service my air conditioning unit a couple of months ago and then just recently, when it stopped working right before the heatwave. Both times he was on time, and called ahead to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived this last time, he identified the problem in about 5 minutes. He called me over to show me what had happened. A bug had lodged itself in just the right place in the unit which prevented the fan from turning on. I was so relieved it wasn’t a major issue, and am very thankful he was honest about it. He is an owner the company as well, so you feel that personal touch and extra sense of pride in his work. I definitely recommend these guys.
A company that actually answers the phone, shows up when promised, and fixes what the installers hadn't done right. Much appreciated.
Our A/C went out last night, probably along with tons of other folk, and we were desperate to find a company that could come out asap for a repair. I was so lucky to connect with Jason from Mercury Heating and Air who said he could come out today to take a look. He came within the the time window he gave me, assessed the situation and did a great job with the repair. I am so thankful to Jason for coming so quickly and will definitely be using them again to replace our system when the time comes.
Ian came this morning and rescued us. Our air stopped working on labor day when it was 112 out. He was here in the morning and we now can get through another 112 day today. Thank you. Efficient and professional!!!!!
Jason from Mercury Heating& Air was great. He was professional, polite, and personable—explained everything that was wrong and how he was going to repair it, as well as gave a price breakdown for everything before getting started on the actual repairs, so that I could decide if I wanted to go forward or not. I will 100% be using them again and highly recommend this company.
These guys did a fantastic job. They were on time, explained everything they needed to do, and kept our house clean. The new AC system is working perfectly. I would definitely recommend Ian and Jason.
I just had them replace my furnace and AC from 1988. I had researched many other vendors and they were one of the last I received an estimate from. Ian did a great job of explaining what was entailed in replacing the furnace and AC and shortcuts other companies take etc. I had a complex scenario where I requires a specific size unit. He was Dilligent and creative in coming up with a solution. Easy and seem less installation. Great company and highly recommend
Great service, honest pricing and just all around best in the area. I’ve used Mercury for annual checkups for our HVAC and also upgrades to our AC vents system in the attic. 10/10 would recommend!
