Very professional. Arrived promptly. Did a fantastic job of explaining the problems to me so that I understood them. I also learned a lot about how my system works. Didn't push to sell me anything and even told me a simple repair that i did myself and solved one of my issues with water leaking on my my floor. I would recommend to anyone looking for a HVAC technician.

When we first turned our our AC, we noticed it wasn't cooling. I contacted 1 hour heating and cooling and the guy came out. Quoted us insane pricing on running a leak test for the refrigerant, and then the cost to fix the leak, as well as refilling all of the refrigerant. Would have cost me thousands. We then contacted Daryl for a second opinion. He came out the very next day, informed us the leak test that the previous guy had quoted us was not including all of the other work that would have been needed, and potentially would have lead us down a path to replace our unit all together (mind you unit is less than 5 years old). Daryl opened up the exterior grate, and the unit was completely covered in mud on all 3 sides. He cleaned it right then, and refilled our refrigerant. He also spent over an hour walking through our house educating my husband and myself on how to optimize our air flow in our house to keep the work load of the unit down as much as possible. After all the time spent and work, and only charged us a couple hundred dollars. We had immediate relief, and literally saved our bank accounts thousands. We are very grateful for Daryl's professionalism, kindness, and hard work. We will be using him from here on out, and recommending all of our friends to his company as well. Finding honest, hard-working companies are rare these days. Life saver. Thanks Daryl!
It is never pleasant when the AC quits on the hottest day of the year. After trying to schedule and waiting for call backs from half the contractors in the area, I came across McLeod Heating and Cooling...left a message and started looking to see to call next , my phone rang and McLeod said he just finished another and could be here in 10 mins. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything and told me I did not need some things that had been suggested by others. If you are looking for an honest, efficient and freindly person to work on your HVAC, look no further. Then came the bill, another pleasant surprise. Could not recommend more!

Darryl was great!! He was very nice, knowledgeable and the price was very reasonable (3 great qualities).
We had to replace BOTH our AC and Furnace in August. McCleod was our middle bid, but we went with Darryl because he clearly understood our system and our needs. His attention to detail was EXCELLENT. He got the whole system installed in one day. We could not be more pleased. We will be using McCleod Heating & Cooling for any service needs going forward.
Called early in the morning because our furnace wasn't lighting and it was 7 degrees outside. Received a prompt and polite call back within an hour, and Daryl made arrangements to be at my house 4 hours later, working around my work meeting schedule to make it convenient for me. Came in, quickly diagnosed the problem, and checked to make sure nothing else was wrong. Competent, professional, and knowledgeable. Told me the repair costs up front, had the part in stock, and had us back up and running in 15 minutes. Then he took the time to stand around and give me advice on the best way to heat and cool our basement finish project we are starting. Could not be happier with the service, and also am happy to find a HVAC repairman I can trust and will call when I need help. Thank you, Daryl!

I got a new Bryant furnace and AC unit installed this spring. The installation was excellent. I had to call once it got real hot out. He came quickly, tweaked the settings, and its doing a great job in this 100 degree weather. Great product, but outstanding service. Highly recommend McLeod for your heating and AC needs.

When our A/C suddenly stopped working Darryl came out at 9pm on a Friday night to check it out. When we learned it was bad, he gave us a fair and reasonable price, set up an installation appointment and got it done. Absolutely no issues-- just great customer service and quality work at a fair price. We highly recommend and will definitely use McLeod H & C again.
McLeod Heating and Cooling is extremely professional, very personal, and I will recommend them to everyone who needs Heating or Cooling that asks for someone. They arrived just a little before they said they would, they discussed what options we had and what he recommends, accepting either decision. Everything was completed well before promised. After completion, you could not tell anyone was ever here. If all of the above isn't enough reason, they actually care. This is something you will never get with the huge commercial companies. We had a dire personal matter and they understood completely the situation and helped us in every single way they could. Could not be happier with the service. Thanks!
McLeod has been great! They are always quick to respond when I call and very reasonably priced. We had a very bad experience with a larger corporate company and McLeod was there to help when we were in a bind. I trust that they will be fair and honest and feel very comfortable with them in my home. I would highly recommend this company.
