Great service! Our AC went out and they sent someone out the next day to service it. A few days later, it went out again and they sent out another technician. They figured out the refrigerant was low on one of the units. Due to it being an older model, they did not have the refrigerant on hand. However, they were able to do a conversion and get it back up and running! It was a little frustrating that the first tech that came out didn’t diagnose the issue, but we’re happy that Mcfates was super responsive and able to solve the problem quickly the second time. Reasonable pricing, courteous and knowledgeable techs.
These guys are honest and good at what they do.
Recommended by our realtor, our AC stopped working during a 103 plus day. They were out the next day. On time, honest, no upsale or saying it had to be replaced. Up and working for less than 200 dollars, service call included. Never heard of them before, but will never use anybody else again. Thanks!
These guys repaired my Castle Serenity stove! I had the worst time getting someone to come to my house and repair it. The answer was always the same: "I don't work on those". My pellet stove was broken since December, one phone call to McFate's and they scheduled a time to come by. Not only did they come by, they fixed it! Thank you McFates!
Great Job on Gas Fireplace Insert Repair! They showed up on time and fixed the "key" valve that was leaking. Came up with great options, did the work quickly and neatly...and charged a fair price for the work. So nice to work with a company that maintains integrity. Thanks!

We called McFate’s and spoke to Sonia who was able to have someone come out that very day to come look at our AC unit! We were wanting to see if we needed a new unit, or possibly looking at zoning but Luis was about to look at everything and suggest alternate options since he said our current unit and flow were good! Great service, and obviously not selling products that’s aren’t needed so very honest. We will continue to us McFate’s for our yearly maintenance for AC and Furnace. Highly recommend to anyone but especially family and friends.
Called on a 100 degree day and expected to wait a week for air con help. A real person answered and said she would have a tech at our home within an hour. Amazing! The tech, Shaun, checked things out, offered alternatives, and went to work immediately. Within 3.5 hours our old air conditioner was working better than new. Amazing! He was thorough and checked/tested everything before leaving. It was more work than he expected, but he stayed with his original quote. We made sure to give him a tip and it was more than worth it, because the bill was less than 10% of the price we were quoted earlier in the day. Thanks to Shaun for working late and thanks to McFate's for running a great business.
I've used McFate's several times over the years. They are always friendly and professional, whether doing a diagnosis (w/bid) or installing parts or my new furnace! Juan was super helpful and correctly diagnosed the issue on my AC fan motor on Friday night after business hours (so nice!). Sean Kinne came out today and installed the motor, gave me some great advice on cleaning out my rain gutters so the excess water doesn't run into the unit (resulting in the fan having a longer lifespan). :) Sean confirmed that everything was working correctly before leaving as well. In and out and I now am ready for the 90+ degree weather again! Great service and one happy customer!
Today my household woke up to no heat. I contacted McFate’s Heating and was greeted by Dan. He was kind and very helpful. He sent his repairman immediately. Luis contacted me to provide an arrival time. Upon arrival, he was professional and was able to quickly identify the problem. He was wonderful to work with. He discussed the repairs and checked the filter. They didn’t offer to sell me something I didn’t need and their service fee was fair. I will definitely contact them in the future.
These guys are my heroes. My pellet stove was down for two months. I kept getting put off by other companies. Thank goodness I found McFate's. Luis came to the house and was incredibly knowledgeable. He took his time and made an accurate diagnosis as to what the issue was. He was upfront about the costs and timing. Followed up and did what he said he was going to do. He was pleasant to work with and respectful. We will definitely be calling McFate's for our Fall maintenance.
