This company is very unresponsive, incompetent, and unprofessional. I used them through my home warranty company. It took them a very long time to follow-up after the initial inspection. After weeks, they decided we needed a new HVAC system which took forever to arrive (months) at the warehouse due to COVID. No communication from this company. We called them countless times to check on the status and they rarely called back. When they finally “fixed” the A/C, they left the site in shambles. When I called them about it, they ignored me until I reported it to the home warranty company and sent a photo. A few months later when the weather changed to cold, we discovered the heat didn’t work. Who replaces the HVAC system without testing to make sure it works properly? Had to file another claim with the warranty company and from the new company found out they never actually connected the heat properly and I was told had they left the gas line on we could have been carbon monoxide poisoned! They need to be shut down.

Do not use this company they will not call you back and they run insurance scams. The insurance company can't even get a call back... I would not recommend this company.... They did not care about their customers 👎

Waiting over 72 hours for their promised return call. I called and left three detailed messages, 24 hours apart. Still no call. Presently without heat or air conditioning. This is totally unprofessional. Would never recommend or use them. AHS is sending another company out .

I wouldn’t recommend this company. They seem very unorganized! No one calls to give updates on up coming appointments, dispatcher doesn’t call if tech is running late or if they aren’t even showing up for the appointment. I have scheduled two appointments with this company, first appointment tech was supposed to arrive at 8am...I call Haley the dispatcher at 8:30 and she lets me know something happened and tech needs to reschedule.. NEXT APPOINTMENT was scheduled Tuesday at 5:30pm and GUESS WHAT NO CALL NO SHOW! soo disappointing! How can they do business. No wonder why they have such bad reviews!

This company was sent to repair my hot water heater by American Home Shield- NOT by my own choice, in April 2019. Let it be known that the company also goes by the name "Big Rock Service Company". The owner, Ryan Webb, and a gentleman (that while at the house, told me that he was an electrician, and that he didn't usually install hot water heaters when she had a question to ask about the hot water heater) were sent to our house. While here at the house, they both went away on "parts runs" for additional parts needed. Before leaving on one of those occasions, I asked the "electrician" man if I could use COLD water to wash some laundry. He said "Yeah! No problem at all, we can just turn the valve off behind the water heater before we leave". So, I washed a load of clothes. My husband came home on his lunch break during the time they were gone, and went into the master bedroom closet to grab something. He noticed that the carpet was wet, and I IMMEDIATELY called Ryan to tell him there was water in the closet. He said he was almost back from the "parts run", and he would take a look at it. My husband was leaving as he pulled up, and he saw that the water was drained all the way down to the street from the garage at this point in time. Ryan came into the house, looked in the closet, felt the floor and said that we could put some fans on it, and he would use our shop vac to vacuum up the water and it would be just fine in a couple of days. Ryan then went into the garage and reamed the "electrician" guy asking him 'Why would you tell her it was okay to do laundry??? No!!!", while the guy admitted he had told me it was okay, and that he was wrong. Ryan used our shop vac, put our fans toward the closet, then was ready to head out. The next morning we noticed that the closet smelled like a foot locker. My husband thought it was from one of us leaving shoes in the closet after doing yard work. That was NOT the case, when he put his nose to the floor of the closet. The smell

I agree with everyone else about this company. We have talked to AHS and Max air and heating WILL NEVER COME OUT TO OUR HOUSE AGAIN.. what company goes to a service call and says they fix the problem and my tenant goes in and water is all over the floor. My property manager says they called to come back out and then calls me and says we are calling to send plumber out again after they already talked to PM already. This company sucks..

This business is not run very seriously. - They did not show up for a scheduled appointment and didn't call me (no call/no show).....TWICE! - They were initially very hard for me to get a hold of them. It took them 4 or 5 days to contact me initially, after I had reached out to them several times. - Took them over a week to supply my home warranty company with necessary information for ordering a new heater. - The process of getting a new heater installed/repaired took over a month, and I was given several wrong diagnostics as far as "what's wrong" along the way. This company was the bottleneck for the majority of the time.

If you want great customer service and professionals DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! Save yourself the trouble What a waste of time...Never answered my phone call or returned my call.... my Insurence company set me up with them. Please don’t let yours do the same... The so called “Professional” walked in my garage and tried to light a cigarette!? We exchanged words and he ended up leaving... These guys look like they been using also... He slurred every word that came out his mouth.

Be awesome if they answered the phone or called customers back. I was told that I have to use them by my home warranty company but they never called to schedule the appointment and they didn't answer any of my phone calls.

I pay for a home warranty, why? To save money, but this Ryan putz tries to charge me for extras and the warranty company for things that weren't broken! Then this shyster has the impudence to tell me he has to rip off the warrant company to make money on these calls, so I say "sure, but did you have to rip me off too?" and then he started cursing at me, I don't know what his problem is, he needs therapy I think.

From the moment I called, I was handled in a professional manner. You can really tell they care. They worked quickly to get my AC running again and the price was so affordable. I definitely recommend MaxAir Heat and Air, as I will use them again if I ever run into another troublesome unit.
