Excellent Service, Dependable and Affordabl. and they work with your schedule. I highly recommend Mathews Heating and Air to everyone. At the time of this review we recommend ed this company. Not any more we took the yearly service agreement that was offered and have not seen these people since. I'm very dissatisfied being lied to. Never again.
These guys did a great job. I would recommend them to anybody and everybody. The important thing is that they did what they told me they were going to do. Thank you to Mathews Heating and Cooling for helping me stay warm and save money doing it at the same time.
My furnace went out in the middle of the night and Matthews was at my house at 7 AM the next morning and they had everything resolved within a couple hours. Great service, great price and a great warranty. Couldn't be happier with their service and I would definitely recommend them!
Bob and Paul are the nicest guys and total pros at what they do. They not only show you what’s wrong with your system, they explain everything to you simply and show you the part as well when able. They’re highly competent, as they’re also licensed electricians and plumbers. I’ve been thrilled with the work they’ve done for me and feel extremely comfortable with them in my home. Highly recommend!!!
Bob Mathews and his team worked very hard and quickly to install a heat pump before cold weather set in. They are professional and polite. They cleaned everything up once done and it looked great! I would recommend them to anyone needing hvac work. It is rare to find nicer or more caring people to work in your home. Thank you Bob and gang!!!

Hottest few days of the year, and my entire unit goes bad. Even though I live 2 hrs from Knoxville in the Tr-Cities, Bob and his guys installed an entire new unit in no time. He is honest, realistic, and most importantly, precise. He takes the time to explain what he is going to do and why. Our air conditioner/HVAC broke recently. It was so hot. I called around trying to find someone to fix it ASAP with no luck until Bob Matthews called me right back. He came out the same day and was very through in telling me what was wrong, how it could be fixed, and what my options were. Ultimately, with a 20 year old HVAC, we opted for a brand new one. They came out the very next morning and replaced our HVAC and furnace. They worked like dogs in that August heat and didnt leave until it was completed. He gave us a fair deal and guarantees his work. All around very professional and detail oriented. They clean up their mess when they are done as well.
Excellent service. The guys came out, done the troubleshooting, and consulted with me before doing any work. Not to mention a $0 service charge. Explained everything in detail, fixed my issues, and worked with me on pricing. A part they replaced under warranty went bad within a couple weeks, and they came back out, no questions asked, and replaced the part 100% free of charge. I stand behind them.

After multiple estimates and reading reviews, we decided to choose Mathews Heating and Cooling to replace our gas package unit. Couldnt be happier. Bob came out the next day after contacting them. Our A/C went out, I contacted them via email on a Sunday evening and I got a phone call back within an hour and an appointment for the next day! I have never gotten that kind of response from a company that's so prompt in getting everything taken care of. Bob and his coworker came out at the agreed upon time, so very friendly and courteous. Took the time to go through everything with me and show me what they were doing and why they were doing it. I HIGHLY recommend them. I seriously was so pleased with their work and effort and respect they gave. I've referred them to everyone that has had any type of trouble with their unit! It's awesome!
Our electric bill was through the roof and our house not cool at all. Bob and Paul came out and cleaned the coils now, the house is cool and the KUB bill a lot lower! Great guys, very professional and did not even drop a cigarette butt in my yard. They even picked up a couple that someone else had dropped!
Watched the workers throw cigarette butts out of the window of their truck on highway. Very disappointed.
Home from Vacation and..... Ac was on Vacation apparently😌 but one call to Bob and we were fixed that evening, no service call, after hours and he did a full service on our unit. Ac is Priceless don’t wait till yours is acting up or stops call Bob for a maintenance plan to keep your unit going and working more efficiently. 5 Star ⭐️ service rating for sure!
Good guy. Bob did a thorough job and was honest through the whole process. The maintenance plan offered is excellent. Matthews is now my go-to business for HVAC repair.
