The company is horrible. Rogerio installed a system that never worked. He made an appointment 3 times to come fix it but never showed up for any of the appointments after waiting for him for hours. He does not have any respect for time or for his profession. I doubt he’s even licensed . Should’ve done my due diligence before I hired him. Definitely NOT recommended.

Roger gave us a quote below other contractors, and he presented as a very nice and affable guy. Contrary to others, he insisted on a 2-zone system: "Trust me. You'll like two zones..." Well that didn't work out so well, as the ductwork was inadequate in the zones, the airflow always was a mess, and recently the outside coils froze up because of the backflow of air (in hot weather). He blames house insulation. Pro analysis showed that his ductwork was inadequate for CFMs and it causes backflow. He also installed a tankless hot water system. We've had one problem after another. His guys left paper in furnace system which, 18 months later, made it to the motor. This cost us yet again for a Cranny Home Service call since Roger continued to ghost us. He never pulled a permit! We confronted him on it and he still didn't pull a permit. His PVC was not to code, inadequate, and only from my other contractor did we find this out as it would have croaked our system, and he thankfully replaced the PVC after being called out on it. He originally left us with a gas leak near the furnace that NSAR fixed. The water heater pumped out carbon monoxide to the exterior, and he said, "that's natural..." but when NSTAR came and shut it down, his response was "just need to clean the filter." What it really needed was a combustion analysis to tweak the air/gas mixture (or something like that). And every time, with every problem, Roger gave us BS excuses. Recently he had enough energy to text me "at the hospital," and the next day, "...when I can I'll get back to you," leaving us wondering what that meant while searching for my telepathic crystal ball. The reality is that he put no effort to communicate with us. We were often left to wait and wonder what's what with Roger. So the saga of Martin's Mechanical has come to and end at our home. We surely would not recommend him.
i concur with Janets Review from a year ago. To save typing I could just say read Janet and then ditto….. i hate to hurt anyones business, but on the other side, consumers deserve to know the truth and make good decisions. there are some good reviews on here, so sure there is some good work coming from Martins . Maybe it depends which crew you get . Clearly Janet and I did not get the best crew. My experience was a mirror image of what Janet had to do to get it right.
They're very helpful and explained issues clearly. Helped me find out the leaking issue of my 20-year-old AC and replaced them with a new system. Thanks to them that I can survive the heat wave with a good AC.

My AC had issues for the longest. I called couple of services and they said it needs a cleaning, they supposedly cleaned it but the same issues occurred. I then came across Martins Mechanicals, searching in google. Roger showed up within hours and suggested that the duct weren't properly cleaned all away to the main source. He spend the day cleaning, he then told me to call him if it happened again, BUT it never did. Than you Roger, Highly Recommend.
Very reliable and efficient. They came within 1 hour, gave me a price to replace it, at a very competitive price. I will definitely call him again.
The heat is working super well now, after many phone calls from other installers, finally Roger was able to fix it. Thank you Roger, excellent service.
Do NOT recommend. Installed a whole energy efficient system, with 2 units and zones, including humidifier and on demand hot water heater. After spending more than $20k, there were leaks to fix and the AC didn’t work. After multiple calls, he finally came to fix the problems blaming « the guys ». Now, he won’t return my calls to provide me with a final receipt so I can get the rebates. The job was also late. My realtor recommended as she had used him but I should have done my due diligence instead. Very poor experience.
Problems from day one. Roger never returns my call. Just hired someone to fix the whole system. We requested a very efficient system with multiple zones. Two separate units were installed, attic and basement. Both units are undersized and only 92% efficient. The system was never properly balanced, we are losing air so our basement is wonderfully cold and the floor vents were not properly connected or located in areas for good airflow. Also, the whole job was sloppy and over priced. Thanks Roger for stealing our money. Your LACK of pride and commitment to your business is outstanding!
