We felt compelled to leave a stellar review for Mafer Heating and Cooling (google lists them as Mafer Economy Heating & Cooling) in Milwaukee. After our experience using their service, it is the least we can do. We bought a home recently in Milwaukee and as part of closing the inspector flagged the heating and cooling system as in need of servicing and repair, amongst a few other odds and ends. Through word of mouth a family member referred us to Mafer. We called right away as closing was in a matter of days and we needed to act fast in order to know how the service charge may factor into our closing costs. They answered on the first call and we spoke with Josh. After explaining our predicament Josh was very reassuring that they will be able to resolve what ever issue they find when they got to the house, quickly, and on budget. Josh came the same day, which blew us away as the two other contractors we pulled from a google query said they would not be able to get to us for days. The one we left a message with we had to follow up the next day before even reaching them (which we did because they had good reviews). After our experience with the other contractors coupled with Mafer's rapid, professional, and reassuring response which lived up to our family's referral, we decided to take a chance and give Mafer our business without getting competing bids. Josh was on-time and not only prompt, he was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and gave us a thorough diagnosis of our issues including options ranging from critical things we needed, and important things we would want, to upgrades that would be nice, and timetables and estimates on all these options on the spot! We opted for the critical and important services, and he had the parts we needed in the truck! Josh completed all the service we needed in one day, and said he would follow up with us in the coming week to make sure there were no issues , and that if we needed him sooner he'd be right there to make it
