What's not to love about these folks? We purchased two new Trane units (up- and downstairs) about a year apart in 2017 & 2018. They were wonderful to work with at that time. Fast-forward to July 2023. A power glitch caused our downstairs unit to stop working at 5pm on a Friday. I phoned in a service request and a technician was here by 6:30. It turned out to be just something caused by the power glitch. But the charge for the service visit was VERY reasonable. The tech (Hunter) was simply superb. He was here for about 45 minutes and made sure that everything was working. Just a wonderful and knowledgeable young fellow. Hunter talked us into signing up for their semi-annual maintenance contract. Seemed like a good investment for our Trane units. These people are awesome!

My Ac went out out on 7/6/23 around 6pm...put in a call to liberty and your tech Hunter Barnhouse had me up and running by 9:45pm...Hunter was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, plus a pleasure to deal with...he explained everything he was doing in detail,and told me the cost ahead of the repair...this was a great relief,as I am pushing 60yo and work outside also to make a living...it was up to 85 deg already inside,and the thought of going thru the night without ac comfort was not sitting well with me...I called a couple other places first to be honest,and said they couldn't come out until 9 or 10 the next morning, so having the issue solved that evening was awsome!!!...big shout out to LibertyAir and Hunter!!!

After attempting to have another AC company repair our AC (starting with a dead exterior fan motor) FOUR times unsuccessfully, we called Liberty Air for a second opinion. They had extended hours compared to other companies, came the same day on a Monday evening, and rapidly and correctly identified the problem and made the appropriate repair resulting in full functioning of the system. The price was the same as quoted by the other AC company (the same repair was performed but correctly done by Liberty Air). Our technician, Jimmie, was professional and informative. We will without hesitation be using them for our further HVAC needs.

Initial call was easy and straightforward very pleasant to deal with. The technician's name is Hunter. He was prompt to show up at the service home,my home. He was well dress in a full uniform as any professional should be,he explained things well enough for me to understand what was going on. Very knowledgeable of his craft.While fixing the unit I saw him doing overall maintenance and checking the system wiring and other little things in my unit I am extremely thankful for his service. Shout out to Mike for turning a frustrating situation into a positive one. Upon returning from a stress free vacation, we realized our A/C wasn't working properly. And it was already in the upper 80's and it wasn't even 12:30 p.m. yet! Of course the stress relief from vacay was starting to quickly dissipate! Mike showed up on time, listened to the issues we were having, helped us understand what may or may not be happening and with a positive and professional demeanor quickly got to work on diagnosing the issue. Thankfully the issue was something he could fix that day and taught us about what exactly was going on. This helped us really understand that we didn't have a lemon A/C unit that is just a little over 5 years old but that the part that needed to be replaced typically only lasted 3-5 years. Setting the expectations and explaining in a kind manner really made this experience a positive one. Thank you Mike!

Technician couldn't find the problem and charged almost $600 for nothing. Second AC company found and fixed the problem without issue. Yet after leaving a bad review Liberty Heating and air couldn't find me as a customer. I'm assuming that's how they handle all their bad reviews.

Paid to have AC fixed. Still not working. First technician was wrong about the problem. Now second technician wants an additional $900 with no credit for the first payment. This is an edit to my original review and a response to you not knowing who I am. I am the manager at Charlie's place grooming solan. I worked with the 2nd AC company that came out to fix our AC issue. It didn't take them 2 hours and $600 to find the problem.

After paying over $500 our AC still wasn't working. First technician said "I'm not sure what the problem is, but I think it's a clogged drain." Well it wasn't clogged and the AC still didn't work. Called to have them come out again. The second technician found the real problem immediately and wanted another $900. What happened to the almost $600 that we paid to have it fixed the first time? We recieved no credit for the the money we already paid. The only offer they made was to not charge the second service fee. We shouldn't have had to have them out a second time. It should have been fixed the first time. So disappointing.

It breaks my heart to write this. We have used Liberty Air for 10yrs for both our business and home air units. They have always been without issue. I called them out about 4 or 5 days ago and they said he didn't know why it wasn't working but he said there was water in the pan, so the drains maybe needed cleaned. Well, $500 later, it just isn't working. So I call them out again. The second guy catches it within a min literally of being there. He said both our units had hair clogged in both and they really needed done. Well that'll be an additional $900. I was extremely upset. I didn't have the first $500 more less an additional $900. The only thing they offered was not to charge the service fee to come out that second time. I am furious. We have been VERY loyal and we are honest people. I wasn't expecting free $900 worth of work, however to not even admit fault or offer any discount for the work they should've done and caught day 1 day one is unacceptable. I am a small business and when we are in the wrong we make it right. Do not trust these people.

Liberty Air is the epitome of professionalism. Our 17 year old HVAC unit was on the brink of death and Liberty Air came to the rescue. Chip, the HVAC consultant, came to our home and did a thorough check of what we would need. His goal wasn’t to sell an HVAC unit that day. He wanted us to have all of the facts and information we needed to make a very important investment decision. He was patient, knowledgeable, and professional, and made us feel comfortable and confident in our decision. Every time I had a question, he responded very quickly and didn’t make me feel as if I was inconveniencing him (I had ALOT of questions). The install itself was an amazing process to see. The gentlemen who performed the work were pleasant, polite, and thorough. The work they performed was nothing short of outstanding. They were very respectful of our home when they came inside, and I was truly appreciative that they wore shoe covers. Once the work was completed, the owner (?) came out to do a final inspection. Once completed, they went through how the thermostat and overall unit operated and made sure we understood everything before they left. We will be Liberty Air customers for life!

Liberty Air sends pamphlets to homeowners for their business. I got one and called them today as I was interested in their service, and I found that they didn't know anything about their campaign. The call taker put me on hold and returned to me saying, 'I do not know, and my manager does not know anything about it.' This is very strange for a company that has been in service for a long time. I am sure they need a better communication process in place. I should not use a company that does not care about its customers. I found them unprofessional. Thanks.
