I can't say enough positive things about John Elias and his team. John was very patient with me and my abundant questions over the course of several weeks. He took time to address all my concerns, explain to me all the intricacies of the available products, and is genuinely a good person. On installation day, he and his team showed up right on time and worked for 7 hours straight until everything was complete (very quick for 2 furnaces, 1 coil, 1 outdoor unit). Everyone on the crew was polite and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend John Elias and Lexington Heating & Air.

Good and honest company, they won’t try to rip you off like other companies in the area. Came out the same day I called, ordered the part they needed, and had it fixed the next day. I won’t look elsewhere for HVAC repair.

John came out for an emergency ac fix on a Sunday night, had the problem diagnosed and fixed short order, didn’t price gouge or charge crazy rate for emergency fix. Explained the issue, the solution and had it done very quickly. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for hvac work!
I had called John's business after I had received the run-around from my FORMER HVAC company. They wouldn't provide me with a day or time that they would come and repair my A/C unit and after 3 days I called Lexington H&A and John had someone at our house that afternoon. Aneed was courteous, knowledgeable, and quick. He had our unit up and running within a few minutes and even checked our other unit. When I was ready to pay up, I couldn't believe how reasonable the charge was! I had to ask them to repeat it. We are grateful that they worked to get our air up and running during this extreme heat, and that they show what a great business really is.
I’ve used Lexington Heating and Air for several years now. When my 30+ yrs old HVAC system had problems, John was the only company that would touch it. Other businesses wouldn’t even attempt because of its age. Their only solution was to buy a new one, even though it worked. John kept it running for years and never tried to sell me a new system. On one of the coldest days last winter, my heater finally gave out. There was no fix, the safety switch disabled the unit bc of a crack in the system. His crew was at my house first thing next morning. They were beyond polite and professional, all while spending their long day in a tiny, cold crawl space. When I’ve had questions or concerns, John has always replied immediately. As a first homeowner in her 30’s, I’ve had several contractors take advantage of my inexperience and ignorance with repairs/appliances. I have huge respect for this company, as I’ve never experienced it with them. Anytime I’ve interacted with John and crew, I’m even more impressed. I’ve learned to do my research before hiring companies, mainly by reading customer reviews. However, I rarely write them myself. I highly recommend Lexington Heating and Air, you’ll never have to shop around again.
John and his team provide exceptional service at a competitive price. Our furnace recently needed replacement, and we found out right before an extreme cold front was headed to Lexington. They installed the furnace with only one day's notice,, and they were very responsive to our schedule for when we could be home. They are efficient, professional, and focused on high quality customer service. We highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again for our HVAC needs.
John and his team went above and beyond in helping me fix my AC issues. I never write reviews or take the time to, but they deserve it! Wouldn't even think about using another company besides them.
I called them for a second opinion on my heat pump. They came out the same day, and fixed the issue the next day. They were very helpful, punctual, and knowledgeable. Their prices are far more fair than other companies, and they are honest and straightforward. If I have any HVAC issue in the future I will absolutely call these guys again, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustable and reliable HVAC company.
We needed help fast - A/C Went out last night and John Elias responded quickly this am, came out and got it back up and running. Fast and reasonably priced. Super nice guy too! We will definitely use him for future A/C and heating needs - Highly recommend!!
Last summer a large HVAC service company gave me an estimate of $800 to get my HVAC running so I called Lexington Heating and Air for a second opinion and they fixed it for under $200! And it still works great and even better than before.
After my heat pump refrigerant line iced over, I contacted several companies for a for a recommendation of services and overall evaluation of my system (original to the home) given its older age. The first two companies diagnosed low R22-A refrigerant and were adamant that a full replacement of the system was the only reasonable option, given the high cost of R22, which is being phased out and is no longer produced. The first company ball parked an $8000-12000 range. The second company quoted $7,000. After researching the size of unit my house required, both of these estimates seemed high. When John Elias of Lexington Heating and Air came out to the house, he exhibited signs of professionalism absent from the other two companies. Rather than pushing a sale, he diagnosed my system and then presented options to me with a full spectrum of information so that I, as a home owner, could make the call that was appropriate for my finances and perspective. It turns out that my unit was low, but not terribly low, of R-22, and although the refrigerant is not made any more, the scare tactic of many companies is to use its higher prices to push full system replacements. John quoted a top-off of refrigerant to be around a couple hundred dollars, which was more than fair based on what other companies had quoted. Given the age of my system, I inquired about the replacement cost of a new heat pump / air handler / thermostat. John quoted $4900, which came in at a couple thousand dollar difference from the other two companies, and more in line with the fair prices I had researched online. I am a proactive person, and with a 10 month infant in the house, avoiding midweek outages was in my interest. John never pushed a full system replacement, nor offered critical words towards a decision to go that route. John evaluated the system on a Friday, and was able to come out with his team Tuesday for an install (Monday was Memorial Day). John's entire team were immensely professional durin

John was honest where other companies were not. I chose John and his team to replace my system. John, you are running a great business and will continue to use your services in the future.
John responded to my problem quickly, was very professional and friendly, and his rate was very reasonable!
I found Lexington Heating & Air through recommendations in my neighborhood on NextDoor and contacted John when my air conditioner was no longer producing cool air. John came over an hour later and took a quick assessment, then came again the next morning with the tools he needed to crawl under my house and diagnose the problem with air conditioner. When it became clear the best solution was to replace my old unit with a new one, John was able to do the job within 72 hours (only the rain delayed him!). On the morning of installation, he got the unit in quickly, and I had AC running instantly. He was kind and courteous, had great communication, and best of all, trustworthy and got the job done quickly. I cannot recommend him enough!
I usually don't write reviews. However, from the owner to the team this place is top notch-5 stars. John, the owner is honest and helpful. Anan, the service technician was punctual, hard-working, dedicated, and honest. If you A/C unit goes out I would call them with confidence every time.
