The first time I turned on my ac this season, it wasn't cooling. I called Lemos the afternoon of 6/6 and got an appointment for the next day. The tech, James, arrived, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it, all within 20 minutes. He charged me less than I've paid for any ac repair in the last 15 years, without trying to upsell me. Lemos has earned my business for all my hvac needs.
Our air conditioning stopped working just as the weather was getting hot. I had just finished a round or radiation and was about to restart chemotherapy and was worried about being able to tolerate living conditions without air. I both emailed and called Lemos prior to their opening hours and received a phone call minutes after they opened, letting me know James would be out that morning to try to help us. James showed up and was not only one of the nicest people I've met, he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to repair our ancient unit in a very short amount of time. He spent extra time explaining things and seeing if there was anything else we needed. The cost of the repair was minimal and the amount of stress off my wife and I was immeasurable. James did not try to sell anything but the necessary parts for the repair, even knowing our unit should probably be replaced. I highly recommend Lemos Heating & Air, and I highly recommend their employee, James, who is a wonderful asset to this wonderful company. Thank you so very much for all of your help at a time we were in great need. Thank you also to the wonderful young lady who called me to set up the appointment and kept us informed prior to James' arrival. I am so sorry I didn't hear your name clearly and was too embarrassed to ask you to repeat it (I'm a little audibly challenged). But you were great also and helped us out so much. James is awesome. My wife and I just moved into a fixer upper house with lots of "issues" which included a heating system that has never really worked. This winter we finally got tired of waking up to a house that was ~44 degrees and decided to submit a claim to our home warranty company to see if we could get help fixing the problem. The person that came out (Abbott HVAC) was incredibly condescending and said the only solution was to replace our entire system (after about 10 minutes of looking around) before abruptly leaving. Following this worthless diagnosis I called Lemos for a second opinion. James came out the next day and spent several hours helping us figure out the root cause of our heating issue. It turns out that we had some incredibly dirty coils that were blocking most of our airflow. James patiently and diligently cleaned the coils and got our system working better than it ever has. I am writing this review wearing shorts and a t-shirt inside...something I never thought would be possible in winter. I cannot emphasize just how refreshing it is to work with people that are highly professional and actually competent. I got a kick out of watching James figure out where our problem was coming from and then implementing the solution. He also took the time to explain exactly what he was doing which was really helpful. I am sure we will eventually have to replace our entire system but am glad that we don't need to do it right away. James was excellent- professional- and proactive. He fixed our heater and changed our filters as a courtesy. We didn’t have to follow up or anything- he picked up the piece we needed and brought it over asap. Will always use them if we need anything. Thank you James.
The most important thing about Jim is his integrity. He will go the extra mile to fix the existing equipment rather than try to sell you a new system. When one of the largest of his competitors told me I needed a new system, I got a second opinion from Jim. He fixed it in less than an hour. His years of experience are invaluable. His price was way more than fair. Thanks Jim!

Mr Lemos is the best and most honest in the business. Sometimes he gets backed up but calls and apologizes. Integral and professional!
Lemos Heating and Air was fantastic! They were able to come out the day after I called. The tech that came out was kind, professional, and timely. Within less than two hours he had our heater working again! I will definitely be calling again for any future HVAC maintenance.
Jim and his team are amazing. Our AC unit went out in the middle of a family emergency. They somehow squeezed us in and got our AC back on, fixing what would have otherwise been a very difficult week. Friendly, professional and just really nice.
Our air conditioner went out a couple weeks ago. Called Lemos right before they were closing and was able to make an appointment for the following day. James got there a little earlier then the scheduled time and got right to work. He was very nice and professional. The work was done in about 35 minutes and our air conditioner works great. What a bunch of lifesavers! Lemos was the second opinion that I had set up to rebut the claims of my home warranty selected first appt. Needless to say that first contractor was a mess and the problem was misdiagnosed. Enter Lemos. The technician arrived near the end of the appointment window which me worried based on past experience but thankfully that did not stop the technician from resolving our AC issues. The system issues were a head scratcher. The system would cycle on and off randomly and one time it would not start for the whole day. I did some testing myself and noticed power losses to the thermostat and the zone controller. I told the technician about this and then he began his work. Just as confounded as I was, the technician called for a senior technician to help diagnose the issues. This occured over a couple of hours and what I appreciated was the time that both technicians spent to try to resolve the issue. Initially they thought the issue could be a lack of power was due to a bad controller in the dual zone system. They did some testing and disconnected the system and in the end discovered the issue was a bad furnace control. The technician spent another hour installing and testing a new system and voila! The system was up and running. I waited a couple of weeks to make sure there wasn't any issues and that we got everything worked out in paying for the work done and I couldn't be happier. Further, the Lemos technician also noted that my system was in good shape and that I did not need to replace or upgrade my system. I appreciated his work ethic and his bosses as It seemed like the idea of leaving before the job was done did not cross their mind. It wasn't the last call at the end of the day that they wanted to power through quickly but instead a problem that needed a solution. Further their diagnosis and repairs saved me thousands of dollars. Our first home warranty selected technician said that we need to replace the entire system for around 1
Our whole house air conditoner stopped working. Jim Lemos came out very promptly and resolved the problem in only a half hour. Great service on a 100 degree plus day here in Sacramento.
We had Lemos here several times. Great customer service, service, fair rates and suggestions. They don't try to push/fool you into some very costly deals or repairs. They do what the customer wants repaired/done. Other guys don't do that. Other guys just want to talk you into getting a whole new HVAC system and that's it and not do the repairs you asked for. I highly recommend Lemos if someone asks me if I know a good A/C & heating repairman/service.
Good Quality Honest service! I wasn't subjected to unwanted sales pitch about a new AC unit which I experienced from another company... They figured out the problem and fixed within minutes! Thanks again Lemos !!
So professional and very easy to work with you for scheduling! Extremely honest too! Last service call a few years ago for A/C recommended unnecessary repairs and we decided to try simple fix that filled and sealed the Freon and we would wait to see if there was a leak in the system!! Lemos told us that our unit is only 7 years old and has absolutely nothing wrong with it! They didn’t have to do anything at all!!!! This company is just awesome all the way around!!!! 👏🏼🥰
Quick, knowledgable and reasonably priced. Needed a part for an old furnace and thats what we got without any mention of upgrading the system. My go HVAC company.
