As the company wishes to contradict me, let me prove my claim. (3 times first on the 23rd, second request on the 27th and again 12/15. That is 3 times) the first time your technician told my house hold to count the number of flashes so he could diagnosis the issue if the heat stopped working. WITHOUT ASSESSING THE UNIT. We did just that and he came to fix the "diagnosed issue". Again, the system goes out and it "may be the control board". It take a technician to be at the unit longer than 5 minutes to diagnosis. (Remember many people have cameras in their homes for safety that are dated and stamped) so here are the pics of the claim requests. So please know, I am more than accurate and not defensive for a lack of competency. This company was hired by home warranty company (which I am not happy with their service) as we apparently hire a company that had the motto of "put a bandaid on it and let's see what can break next). After 3 visits to my house, I still have no heat and the original problem was never corrected. The technician has taken 4 days from the follow up evaluation to even submit a credit back to my warranty company. So it has been 4 days with no heat in my house living in an area with 25 degree weather. If youre smart, do NOT allow this company to be assigned to your claims as they will only play Russian roulette when diagnosing and leave you with a bigger issue due to their lack of competency as a LICENSED HVAC company. They also will then REFUSE to complete their screw up when you call and question their licensure, competency and inform them if your pipes bust due to their incompetence that you will hold them accountable as they feel you have "threatened them". Noone threatened anyone when it's the TRUTH and I'm NOT willing to accept incompetence of a company.

Our warranty company sent Kenny from L&S when I thought our AC wasn’t functioning properly. He was absolutely the most patient, informative and insightful Technician I’ve met. Smart guy and great to talk to. I’m not kidding. He went above and beyond explaining my system’s issues to me with zero pressure to make further purchases/changes. The ding in this review is because they never followed up with an estimate on updating some ductwork. He took pics and said they’d get me an estimate. Never happened. It was work we were considering too. 9/9/21 Update: Sorry to say that I called them days ago to inquire about having some new heating/installation work done and they simply didn’t call me back. I thought I had found someone reliable. Taking my money elsewhere, unfortunately.

Let me first say that L&S has serviced my home twice. Both under home warranty. My experience the first time was great, it was my warranty company that was horrible. The second time was with my new warranty company. I was very happy! With both of my experience I had two different technicians and both are very knowledgeable and gave me tips to maintain my system. Both experiences I had great communication each time I talk with someone from their office. All I can say is I've used them twice and had great experiences. I can't imagine this company with negative reviews but hey anyone can have a bad day. Thanks L&S for the amazing service.

My home warranty sent L&S. The technician was very knowledgeable. The lady on the phone was very responsive and stayed in communication with me through this whole warranty process. Equipment took longer than I had hope but it was no fault of L&S. I received a notification from my warranty company that my equipment was ready and I received a call shortly after from L&S to schedule my replacement. This was my first experience using L&S but definitely not my last. Kuddos to all at L&S.

Let me start by saying the guys who came to replace my AC was amazing. Professional , neat, friendly and very informative. The issue I had was with the service when I called in for updates . I do understand my home warranty called all the shots but once I realized I had to wait for my equipment to come in I contacted L& S for updates. The lady answered the first few times but she started to ignore my calls because I guess she didn’t have a update. When I called from another number she answered. This is what got me irritated. When she got notification that I had to pay $1700 out pocket she called and emailed me without giving me a chance to respond. She asked me several times if I wanted to proceed and I told her yes. Almost as if she wanted to confirm I had the $1790 to pay: I felt like I was delinquent. It was very unprofessional. I recommend asking for payment upfront if you are gong to email the invoice and call without giving the client a chance to respond. I was told Thursday night she would email me and I can pay for half the service I waited all Thursday and no email. Friday I was at work with limited email access and I got a call and was told she just sent the email. I told her I would handle it lunch, she demanded it now. I had to step out of my office and pay. The job was done Monday and before the guys could finish she was calling me 9pm telling me she sent the final invoice. I just felt so uncomfortable , I mean they didn’t even complete the job can I at least make sure everything was installed properly? It was 9pm and I was up all day in the heat it really was unnecessary for her to keep calling and emailing me back to back.

L&S is an awesome small business. From scheduling my appointment with the receptionist, who was very helpful to the men working in my home. The receptionist was very kind in reminding me of my appointment date and time and maintaining communication regarding my service. The guys were very clean while working in my home and I was back up and running. I have recommended to my neighbors and even my coworkers. They will be a long term company I continue to use!

Can not recommend this company low enough. My upstairs AC was not keeping up in the summer heat. It was still pushing out cold air but not enough to balance out how hot the temperatures were outside. I called my home warranty company and they sent out L&S. The technician came out and was a really nice guy. Down to earth and nice. He said the system was low on R-22. He said this happens due to very small leaks in the system so usually they will lose a pound or two over the course of a year. He put a pound in the system and was on his way. A week later we saw improvement but not a substantial amount. The same technician came back out to look at the system. This time he said there was a clog in the line set and that it was missing multiple parts. So he put the request in to my home warranty and left. After he left, the system wasn't functioning at all. It was above 90 in my home for the next few days. My home warranty denied the request to fix the system so I started getting quotes from other repair companies. When the first company came out he immediately pointed out that L&S did not put the locking caps back on. The system had 0 pounds of pressure. (The system takes 8 pounds at almost $200 a pound) And in addition, he pointed out that all of the "missing parts" were on my system. After calling L&S back to talk about the issue. The receptionist said they were "doing us a courtesy" by looking at the unit in the first place and refused to let us talk to a manager. She also said that L&S refuses to come back out and will never service us again. UPDATE: Shortly after writing this post. The receptionist calls us furious that this post was written. She claims everything is a lie. The response has changed three times as of now. "At L&S we operate with integrity. We are glad that you have resolved your issue.
