my ac went out 3 times, they finally got it fixed and 8 months later my heating system went out, called byrant hvac they came out and said the instal was botched they didnt run the right wires or anything so 7 people have emergency heat and we don’t know when it will get fixed
This company is very prompt respectful and very efficient. They were able to fix our issue without trying to upselll a new unit that we did not need.
Honestly, I don't recommend them. 0 stars.
If I could I would give them ZERO STARS. They are so unprofessional & lazy with their work. They have showed up to our home 3 different times “suppose” to fix the issue and the air only worked for about 30 minutes. KAITLYN is a liar…said she called numerous times (she only called once, returned the call & no answer) KAITLYN lied and said she texted (which she didn’t) So when confronted about it, she finally confessed that she didn’t send the text (got her on a recording line) So to finish this review, they open at 7:30am, I have been calling them since 7:35am NO ANSWER…called from a different number & what do you know…THEY ANSWERED. Some guy answered the phone and said “KAITLYN was about to call” YEAH SURE SHE WAS BUDDY! After my wife told him “You have been here THREE different times & failed to fix anything” he got a attitude “if you not happy with our service, you can look else where” So basically we will NEVER EVER use their service again. Unprofessional, lairs, lazy, rude, not good at their job.
I would give less than a star if I could. My warranty company assigned Kentucky Building Science to fix our AC unit. They came and did the initial service call within a decent amount of time. They told us the problem and said they had to order a new control panel and would be back to install it when the part came in. They said it should be a week. 20 days later, my dad called for an update on when they would be installing the part and they said it wasn’t in yet. 3 days later they called us back and said the part was in and they would be here to install it in a couple of days. Okay great, after 4 months of our system being broken, and our upstairs being 100 degrees, we were FINALLY going to have it fixed. Nope. This is where this company really failed us. They came to install the part (at 7am even though they told us between 10am-2pm). The specialist left without making sure the unit was even turning on. He told my dad at the time of leaving everything was good to go and to let the system warm up and give it 24 hours. If it wasn’t cooling by then to call the warranty company back. (Red flag right there). My dad called me less than an hour later explaining he kept checking on the system outside and it hadn’t turned on one time since he turned it on from the thermostat inside. I then texted the specialist back asking why it wasn’t on and to fix it. His response was that he’s already on his way back to Louisville which is about an hour from me and that he would come back the next morning. My dad also called the company office about the problem and they said the specialist would come right back to make sure it was on. They never came nor called us to explain why. We had to find out from calling our warranty company that they told the warranty company they “couldn’t fix the problem and would like for them to find a different company because they are so far away from us” ??? I can’t say enough about how wonderful Steve and his team are. They installed a new AC for us then came back on both a Saturday and a Sunday to repair our existing unit when it froze. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and professional.
VERY unprofessional, does not even communicate with other employees about situation, not knowledgeable about what they’re fixing, bad time management. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
Friendly and very honest.. Scott helped and did an amazing job. If you want honest people I home than highly recommend this company more tha anyone else. Very respectful and faire.other companies wanted $9,000 plus beat the price by more than half. Very friendly and honest.
They are awesome! They helped me on two different occasions with a difficult HVAC problem. You will never regret calling them.
Steve is AMAZING. He always makes sure his customers are happy and goes out of his way to do such. Both times we have used has been tough jobs but he gets them done. I would HIGHLY reccomend him.
My heat went out and I was afraid I'd have to get a brand new one so I started shopping quick. 2 other companies came in and told me I'd have to do a total replace for $$$$. Finally I called KY BSS and Steve came out, ran some test and saw that it was a part (I have no idea what the part was called) that needed to be replaced. He said that I could still get a year or two out of it. The fact tha th he actually checked what the issue was and didnt try to squeeze me for a total replace when it wasn't needed is priceless.
Very impressed with the installation of our new HVAC system. This is the third system KY Building Science Specialist have done for us at various locations. They show up when they say they will, get the job done, pick up after themselves and provides reasonable pricing.
