This review is months old. My husband originally asked me not to post anything to avoid conflict in the future as we bought the extended warranty and may just have to use them again the future. We bought a home early 2021. When the weather started getting hot, the outside unit went out. We called our homeowner's insurance company and this is the company that was selected. It took about 5 days to get everything settled with the insurance company. We then waited over 30 days for the unit to be available which wasn't their fault as there were shortages. The woman answering the phones at times could be short, and she was very unknowledgeable. The techs that came out to the service call were amazing. Except for their complete failure at a correct install. When we finally had it fixed they told us it would take the rest of the day to cool down the house. That night I woke up in a panic as it was beyond hot. We couldn't get any help that weekend and we used an entire months worth of electricity causing our bill to double with no compensation. The owner came out and fixed it. He said the tech would need to go back for training as it was a simple error on his part. Stated he would send him back to fix the drainage pan and never did. We paid 4k for the outside unit and warranty. The insurance paid for the inside unit. Absolutely a terrible experience. The reason that I'm here tonight to finally air my grievance is that I wanted a thermostat that I bought to be installed. The tech told me that it would be impossible without rewiring it. He said maybe he could come back and do it for a small fee. When his partner walked back in he said he would have to ask his boss. I was upset but know nothing about any of this. We are getting close to the 180 day return of the thermostat and sensors so I reached out to a friend who does professional HVAC. He looked it up, told me how to do it and verified that Google said it was compatible. My husband was able to successfully install the ther

Extremely professional from the first call through the installation. They are very friendly, professional and overall amazing to work with. My AC unit was leaking and the coil need to be replaced, I use American Home shield and it can take a long time to get replacement parts from them, KSR got me a new coil and replaced it in a few days… I am very grateful for the excellent service. If you have a AC problem give them a call and they will take care of you. They went above and beyond.. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Wow! These guys are not only extremely skilled at their trade, but they actually care. My wife noticed how good they were at listening to the customer explain the problem and then clearly describe the options, including price and potential pros and cons. Leelan is man of honor and very trustworthy, because let's be honest when you hire someone to work on your home trust is a huge issue. Nothing worse than having to wonder if you are being upsold on services/products you don't really need. We are proud KSR customers for life!

About 3 weeks ago our heater was first turned on, smoke started blowing out one of the vents and I rushed to turn it all off and check for fires in the attic! Well nothing just some bad smelling smoke inside the house but now e A/C& Blower won’t turn on. A friend who knew someone who did this work. He came out a week later and looked at it and said it needed a new fan motor and a new ballast. Well, being the skeptic I am I called our regular A/C folks at KSR! They sent a crew out to check it out late last week, found it needed a new fan motor, I told them about what I was willing to pay for the replacement since I did some research and we came to an agreement. They showed up yesterday, installed the fan motor new an hour; the unit did NOT need a ballast at all! KSR is the best, and you cannot beat the service! And the price usually beats any other company hands down…….Thanks KSR you Rule!

We are new home owners, so we have the American Shield Home Warranty program, therefore KSR AC and Heating were the closest contractors for this warranty program. When the first service call was provided, our unit was froze so the technician could not work on it, had to reschedule. Second call was miscommunication from the office on the day and time to come back. Third service call (in which the owner informed me it was his 3rd time to come out), found the problem. Part needed was covered under the warranty but would really only band-aid the unit. Because our unit was 15 years old, we decided instead of the repair, we would go with a brand new unit, in which KSR sells exactly what we wanted. I spoke to the office on a Tuesday (2 weeks after the first service call) and the owner said she was driving and would call me back after lunch to work out details on purchasing a new unit. Not another call back. Technicians were courteous, office not so much. Sorry, they lost a hug sale and a yearly service contract because of lack of customer service. Mind you it hot in Texas this time of year!
