We purchased a brand new a/c system through KMAC in early 2023 and their service is top notch! We even had a few minor follow up requests and their "after the sale" service and response time has been excellent. Yesterday, our Ecobee thermostat stopped working causing the downstairs a/c unit to shut off. I sent a request in the evening and they scheduled a service call early the next morning. It turned out to be a clogged a/c drain line...which is my fault! Bryan was able to clear the line and problem solved within 15 minutes. A quick hand-shake and he was off to help someone else.

Charged us $280 to replace a capacitor which I learned LATER is a $15-20 part on Amazon and can easily be replaced in under 10 minutes by anyone (see YouTube) at the outdoor unit. There was no breakdown on the invoice as far as parts, labor, service charge, etc. Why? Because they don't want you to know! There should be some relationship between the amount charged and the cost of the parts and the time taken to perform the repair versus charging what they think they can get away with. Agree with another reviewer, total rip off! And stating that the amount was agreed to beforehand, when the customer has no idea what is involved, does not excuse the excessive amount charged considering the cost of parts and time to repair.
KMac used to be our go to AC company, but service is now no longer acceptable. Had a blower motor go out, and Kmac came and replaced. This was on a unit that was still under warranty from them. Then next day, motor fails again, at 6pm. Well after 5, they don't respond! They have ZERO after hours or weekend service. So now, in middle of 3 day freeze, their answer is they can come back in 5 days! For a faulty part that they installed. So now I have to pay someone else to fix their shoddy work.
Great company to have fix your heating and cooling system. In and out and no up sales.
Honest local company that we have been using for years. They always do a great job and take the time to resolve any issues.
First major AC service experience and I'm glad I ended up with KMAC. They were willing to provide me an estimate by phone and completely open on telling me to shop the quote around. They laid out options, articulating the cost benefit analysis without upselling me on anything or forcing a decision. That kind of transparency and confidence shows me they make their living on quality service and long term business with their customers. The actual system installation was also extremely smooth. Scheduled by text one evening, two days later started work at 8am and I'm enjoying cold air by lunch. KMAC will continue to be my AC service from now on and recommendation to others.
We've been using KMAC for many years and have never had a bad experience. They've always been very fair in their pricing and have never hesitated to recommend less expensive options to us when appropriate. And they're prompt - for the last two appointments, they've actually come earlier than the expected time. We are very, very satisfied long-term customers.

Our AC just started having trouble last night so I called KMAC at 7am this morning and here it is not even 9am and my AC has been serviced and we are back in business! It doesn’t get more prompt than that, honestly. Very nice people, super fast service! Very thankful to have KMAC around when we need them! May 4th, 2020 I contacted KMAC to install a cut-off for my outdoor A/C unit. One technician performed the work, taking an hour and a half. I supplied the cut-off box and KMAC supplied two wire whips. The total bill was $480 I looked up the pricing on the wire whips (1/2" & 3/4 inch X 3 ft long) sold for less than $20 each. Sooooo...call it $40 dollars of material, and $440 dollars worth of labor for the hour and a half. (It does take about 10 minutes to drive to their business from my home. Add 20 minutes travel time & call it a total of 2 hours) $220 dollars per hour. When I contacted the office, they said they used flat rate pricing. If that sounds reasonable to you, call them. I won't make the same mistake twice.

I am so disappointed to have to write this review. Never have I ever experienced this. I called to have KMAC come out and fix the AC they installed because the seal broke on the AC unit after a little over a year. When I called to ask them to fix it they refused because I wrote a negative review about my previous experience. It was a very bad experience initially. and KMAC was unable to diagnose the problem. I had to pay another company to identify the problem and then tell KMAC what to do (after some electrical testing) because KMAC came out so many times it was clear they didn’t know what the problem was. This is the reason I wrote the bad review. See video.
We recently re-roofed a customers house and unfortunately, they had AC lines too close to the underside of the decking and a nail punctured the line. Kevin and his team responded quickly and resolved the issue for a reasonable price. They did great work for us.
These guys are great. We were having some issues with our AC several times in July and they all responded quickly, came out to the house timely and were very professional and fairly priced. We saw Phillip, CJ and Kevin. We have been keeping them busy just in 1 month. When CJ and Kevin came, they helped us resolve the issues that did not require repair, and they didn't even charge us a service call fee. You don't find companies like this around anymore! They definitely have earned our future business. They definitely have earned our future business!
We have used KMAC Air Conditioning for at least 10 years at two houses and now our daughter uses them as well. We have referred KMAC many times over the years. They are trustworthy, reliable, and quick to respond.
KMAC Air Conditioning sets the bar in my book on how to do customer service. They are knowledgeable, respectful and always have your interests in mind. They are the only ones I've used in the 18 years I have owned my house. I was surprised to learn that they keep notes about my system so they will be prepared should there be a next time! I'll be replacing my system soon and I wouldn't consider letting anyone else do the job. Thanks, Kevin and Team!
