Jim came out on very short notice to our house when the AC went out due to a power surge from the recent hailstorm. We had called multiple vendors, and Jim was the only one who made a point to fit us into his schedule. He diagnosed the problem efficiently, and explained each step so well. He was extremely knowledgeable with the electrical, which was helpful as our capacitor was blown. He also realized the breakers were labeled incorrectly and made sure we got that corrected as well. Honest pricing, great service. We will be calling Jim for our future AC work.
I wish I could give these guys 80 stars. The short version is, Mr. Kindred is a rock star and his tech (Shaune) is a miracle worker. The long version: Wed morning the A/C goes out. Takes until Friday evening for our home warranty (Oneguard, not great) company to get someone out to our house. Meanwhile, we're in the middle of a month long stretch of triple-digit temps. INSIDE our home it has climbed to 93 degrees and we are miserable day and night. Oneguard's A/C tech spends around 45 minutes checking different things and gives us a list of his findings. Says that he will instruct Oneguard to deny our claim due too a dirty blower fan. What??? He then tells us it will be $8,100 and we will need to replace our heat pump system. WHAT??? We spend the rest of the evening calling Oneguard, waiting on hold for 30mins+ each time, arguing, and getting nowhere. Sat morning I start looking for A/C repair companies open on weekends to get competing bids to make sure we are paying the right amount for a full replacement. I end up speaking with Mr. Kindred from Kindred Services, explain what has happened, and he tells me the only reason they declined your claim is because they are greedy and terrible......I'll have a tech out there in 60 minutes or less and he'll get your system working. Shaune arrives just as he was supposed to, I show him the previous findings, and he gets to work double-checking what they say they found and seeing if there are any other issues. This guy works for an hour, two hours, three hours - I don't even remember but he was here and all business for more than a few minutes on a brutally hot 105 degree day. He does a few things here & there, gets the system running as promised, and indicates that it is just an electrical fix that is needed for the outside wiring of the disconnect on the house. Charges us a price (less than 1/20th!!!!! of the other estimate) that I expected to be double, and goes on about his day. Here we are 3 days later and our house is a
Replaced the A/C system on our home and was extremely pleased. Quick, courteous, and professional service they had my house back to cooling in no time. Owner went out of his way to find the right unit for my home. Would highly recommend.

First of all, I am not that person that does reviews. Jimmy Kindred stands out among the rest of HVAC people and as a genuinely great person with integrity. I called three HVAC companies because my breaker was getting tripped as soon as I powered on my HVAC unit last summer. Every single company/person told me with a 100% certainty that I need a whole new system because my compressor was out. I could not afford to fork out a few grand at that point in time so I just purchased a window unit that someway, somehow got me through the summer, but it was dreadful. I finally saved up enough to buy a new system and I saw my neighbors system being replaced while I was driving by his house so I asked him who was doing the work. My neighbor told me Jimmy Kindred, he has been helping him with all his HVAC needs for a couple decades. Long story short, I did not need a whole new system, all I needed were a couple of parts and re-wiring and I am good to go. All I needed was an honest professional that did not see dollar signs before their own morals. If ever need a new system, or know anybody who needs a new system, Jimmy Kindred is my HVAC guy for life!!! God Bless you Jimmy!!!
The crew were reliable, professionable and did a great job. They upgraded our system and provided the right equipment for our home. The new system is much quieter and more powerful. Can't wait for our first summer electric bill to see the savings with a more efficient system. We have already recommended them to our neighbor - they are HIGHLY recommended
Mr Kindred came over for a late evening emergency AC repair. He was fast to respond and was upfront and open about pricing. He came over and quickly and enthusiastically diagnosed and fixed my clogged condensation line for a great price. would recommend to anyone else!
Long story short my wife and I had issues for almost a year with high humidity and no one could find the issue after 3 different people came and looked. I was referred to Jim and he was able to find the issue and only a couple hours labor later the humidity is back down to normal. I highly recommend Jim and his very nice crew to anyone with ac issues.
A friend of mine recommended Kindred Services to me after i complained about bad service from several other companies around time. Jim is great. Fair and trustworthy. I don’t ever call anyone else.

Jim Kindred is a rock star! We have had a few issues with the existing HVAC equipment at our residence.. The existing coils had deteriorated. I texted Jim on Sunday and he had a tech there on Monday! Awesome Service at a reasonable price!
These guys are honest, knowledgeable and gave a fair price for a complete change-out. Jim had originally stopped by on a Friday afternoon for an emergency call due to my AC not blowing cold. After checking out the unit Jim had said there was a leak and I had lost 60% of my Freon. He did not see any signs of the leak and gave me the option of trying a stop leak product and recharging the unit to see if it would last through the summer. I took this option but that evening the unit was blowing warm again. Jim checked out the unit again Saturday morning and all the Freon was gone which meant the leak opened up even further. Next option was to replace the entire unit which could not be purchased until Monday morning. Monday morning his crew showed up despite the rain and worked for 6-hrs to get me up and running. Jim gave me a fair price for the total replacement and did not try to take advantage of the situation as some contractors would certainly have done. Additionally, he returned my check from the 1st service call and said he was not going to charge me since he did not fix the problem. I had used Jim for my rental property in the recent past to repair some shoty work performed by another contractor who had come out to repair that unit. Both occasions Jim kept me fully informed of the operation on the units, methods of repair and things to be aware of. All in all, I am very happy and will continue to recommend his company to friends and family seeking an honest AC repair company.
Changed my capacitor at my mom's and they explained to her how it all works so if there was a problem in the future she can help describe it better
We live in Canyon Creek, and called Kindred because they're located so close - right across 620... very happy we did. They were prompt, presentable, friendly, thorough, and very fair-priced. We have a unique heating/cooling unit, and the owner even came out to make sure they properly diagnosed and resolved our issues. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family, and am confident that we have found our go-to-guy for any future HVAC issues.
I have used Kindred Services multiple times at my home and office. They have replaced my condenser and gas heater as well as serviced my blower. When I converted some space in my home to an office, Kindred Services ran a new duct to get me fixed up. From big projects to small I will always use Jim Kindred at my home and office.
