My 13-yr.-old window AC died on July 4. I knew I wanted to replace it with a Midea U-shape AC, but I needed an installer with experience installing that unit. I found Keep Cool NYC. When I went to the website, they had photos of Midea installations they had done. I sent an email for more info, not expecting a reply on the holiday, but I had a response within an hour. I ordered my AC and scheduled the installation for today, 7/10, with a 11-2 arrival window. Today Joel called 12:07 telling me he would see me in 15 minutes. He removed my old AC, installed the Midea, and took my old AC down to our trash room, all within an hour. Joel was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I highly recommend Keep Cool NYC.

These folks were great!! Online form is a lot of info but they answered quickly with a quote and a range of appointment times. They called before arriving and were respectful of our space and very careful with our very curious cat. Tech was patient, careful and just a joy to deal with. Installation was quick and flawless 100% wonderful experience.

Our technician, Sean, was efficient and professional. I emailed on Wednesday morning and we had an appointment for Thursday morning (and it's the end of June!) I genuinely would not hesitate to use Keep Cool NYC again. The basic installation is A LOT cheaper than using a gig service, and I've paid about the same to apps for just the installation but this time I had a few add ons (clear plexiglass, safety bar so we could open the window.) Overall, great, professional service and an aesthetically pleasing end result.
The whole team was wonderful from start to finish. Response time was quick, communication very clear, install quick and professional. Would highly recommend.

I had such a pleasant experience working with the Keep Cool team. Their prices to install an AC unit were very reasonable and the services was super efficient as well as quickly providing a comprehensive COI for my building. Joel called me 1 hour before arriving and was in and out in 20 minutes, and was very polite and professional. They took Zelle/Venmo which was really accommodating. Overall, would absolutely recommend their services.
We LOVE Keep Cool NYC in this house! We've now used them on two separate occasions to install 3 AC units (and uninstall + dispose of a few others), and have zero complaints. Their team is responsive, their technicians show up on time and, most importantly, they do an excellent job. Living in an apartment that doesn't get a ton of light, being able to have our AC units installed with plexiglass has been a game changer for us. We'll never go back to the accordions! I don't have much to compare to in terms of cost, but the price feels fair and you get what you pay for. It's worth it to know our AC units will be installed properly and with care. They've made loyal customers out of us!
We called Keepcoolnyc to install two 28000BTU units in our commercial space. They responded by email and explained the procedure. They suggested two places where we could purchase the units. We arranged an install date and they came on time. They worked efficiently for about 5-6 hours removing the old units and safely installing the new units. The fastest and professional AC installation company in NYC. These guys are top Pros. It took only about 20 mins to install a heavy Midea U-shape unit.
Roman fitted 2 Windmill and one Media air-conditioners today. Absolutely excellent fitting. Also very helpful in dealing with my particular requests. All in all, this is an excellent company.
I was really impressed by these folks - very quick turnaround on scheduling our A/C installation AND on getting a COI for it. The technician who performed the installation was great and went above and beyond.

This is such a good business. I was *dreading* figuring out how to install a window a/c unit with my wide windows. Keep Cool NYC was able carry my unit from the lobby and install my a/c with plexiglass. They are incredibly responsive, punctual, and professional. The prices are absolutely worth it.
