My two year old AC unit stopped working after a combined 10 months of use during the summer months. Three HVAC professionals looked at it and all said that the issue was caused by an improper installation, which was done by Kevin at this company. When I contacted Kevin he was defensive and completely refused to even consider that he had made a mistake, let alone fix that mistake. He was rude, disrespectful, prideful, and had an extremely short fuse. It was shocking to be treated the way he treated me when I was expressing my frustration in a respectful way and asking for his help to solve this issue in a situation that was clearly not right. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! They do not have integrity and will not own up to their mistakes. I’m now stuck paying over $2000 to fix their poor quality work on my brand new AC that should have lasted many more years without issues.
I had KC Heating and Air Conditioning help me quite a while ago. However, I’m still peeved about the situation so I decided to leave my review after all. First thing Monday morning I got a call from Nate letting us know that he will come to our home to check out the furnace. (He wasn’t able to give a window but he said he’d call on his way.) He texted letting me know he was on his way. Nate arrived around 11:45 a.m. He happily took off his shoes upon my request. Within moments he was able to identify what was wrong (ignitor). He said that my furnace was under warranty. He called around and couldn’t find my ignitor locally so it needed to come from the manufacturer. He said it was coming from California and it’d be here in two days (it was). He said it was going to get shipped to my home–that’d be easier for everyone. My partner saw how simple it was to change out the ignitor so we told Nate we’d install it. (Our bill just went from $150 to $89–great!) I paid him with cash. After I had paid, I made the mistake of asking about the Honeywell Home Total Connect Comfort app/RedLink (TCC). Nate, very eager to help, wanted to walk me through how to connect it. There were several problems though: - I wasn’t ready for him to help me. I had to scramble to find the module and wires. I had to download the app and create an account. - The previous home owner was still connected to the thermostat. (Despite him having the previous owners’ contact information, I was told to contact them.) - The outlet that my router is plugged into needed a splitter and wasn’t in a position to get it to connect. (Thus unable to connect.) This whole process probably took 30-40 minutes–it was the bulk of my appointment. Nate was at my home for about an hour total. When Nate was getting ready to leave, I asked, “Do I owe you more for your technical assistance?” He hemmed and hawed for about five seconds and said, “How about $50?” I paid again, in cash. Excellent customer service. Nate came out to do some warranty work and diagnosed the issue, which ended up being an electrical issue (not KC’s fault). Nate still helped communicate the issue to the builder, who got the issue resolved. Nate made sure everything was working before he left. STRONG recommendation for KC Heating and Air….especially Nate.
These guys are awesome! I ended up not using them as my regular guy called me and showed up and fixed it. but He was Awesome. he did a video call with me to help troubleshoot the issue and full on told me that the story the other guys guy me was BS and they were just trying to sell me a new furnace. These guys were great and honest!
Kevin and team are professional, responsive and do excellent work. I had them install my HVAC system 6 years ago as new construction. I just had them expand the coverage to our unfinished basement using the existing main floor system. It’s awesome, zone controlled with separate thermostats using the one system. So we now have HVAC in the basement and can control it separately. Ty, one of his leads, came back the same day to take care of a whistle sound!!! It’s now 100%. I couldn’t be happier. Great people.

Great service! Was able to come by same day when every other company I called couldn't send someone out for a few days. He didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need. He also provided very helpful advice, making me aware of how my system works and how to maintain it and keep it running properly!
Extremely honest and wonderful to work with. Had an air conditioner that didn’t want to cooperate and they worked with us until it was fixed. Would highly recommend.
KC is the guy to call for all your HVAC needs. They do great work at a fair price.
Simply amazing! Contacted him in the afternoon and it was fixed before I even got home from work! I'm so impressed and would recommend him to anyone! I have a 20 year old furnace. Most places would have just told me I had to get a new one. He was honest and repaired what I needed. $475 instead of thousands! I'm so grateful!!!
Have used these guys for 15 years, honest, straight shooters, Kevin and his team are awesome to work with and have always been fair on my service and upgrades I've needed to do over the years.
The people at KC Heating are honest and quick! The heat went out on my parents home. I called Kevin at KC Heating and he sent a guy right out. It was a minor fix and heat was restored in minutes. The billed totaled less than a hundred dollars. Thank's Kevin!
Awesome service! Had an issue with the AC just over 2 years after install and Bryson came right out and fixed the issue at no charge. Definitely using these guys again and will gladly refer friends and family to KC Heating and Air Conditioning.
Nate was great to work with today. He responded extremely promptly and was able to come the same day. He diagnosed the problem in a timely manner, answered any questions I had and was very professional. Our heater is working again great. He also took the time to cut the opening for the filter bigger so I don't have to bend the filter to get it in and showed me how to put it in the right way so it is most effective.
Wonderful customer service, very honest guy the minute I call him I like his personality over the phone and he show up right away and give me great deal. Fix my air conditioner with in a few minutes I highly recommend KC and thank you 🙏

These guys are great! The man who was supposed to come fix our a/c called and walked us through the process of fixing it ourselves saving us at least 70 dollars. He did offer to come check it out if that didn't work, but we were so glad he was willing to help without being paid, and his directions worked likr a charm. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone!
