They were fair and honest in replacing my air conditioner unit.
Updated Review 7/2021: When we started using our AC in May 2021 it was not working again. KT Wellman came out and worked for a few hours one day and half a day the next. The technician stated he was unsure what else could be wrong. We paid a few hundred their first visit in 08/2020, $1300 to have a line replaced (that they said was the issue) in 9/2020, and then $585 for May 2021 work. A few weeks later the AC is still not working. It lasted that long due to cooler days and not using as much. We finally decided to try someone else since the technician told me last time that he was out of ideas. The new company ran by and told us it was due to a bad coil. He ordered a new one and replaced it once it arrived. This cost an additional $1700+ but the issue is finally fixes. I can't help but wonder if it was the same issue last year and was missed, which resulted in us paying so much more than necessary. Also the new company was able to complete the work in a few hours, as opposed to KT Wellman's technicians that would be here half to a full day with no progress. KT Wellman's is responsive and so polite but I will not be calling them again due to these issues. We called another business first thing when we noticed our air stopped working. They couldn’t be out for a few days. I called KT Wellman and they immediately gave tips on what the issues might be and said they’d have someone out soon. We had additional issues with a line needing replaced and again they were very responsive every time I called. We will use them for our future needs!

They have been my go to company for years now. They do an amazing job. They are personable and informative. They absolutely will not take advantage of you. Trustworthy in ever way. Recommend 10/10

So I did not use there services but I was locked out of my car at the grocery store and they both helped to get it unlocked while out in the freezing cold. Thank you so much to them!!!! My god bless them!! If I ever need their services will definitely get a call from me!
Diagnostic , I called this company to come out to my home to see how come my home would be cold after the HVAC unit shuts off. Michael was the tech that came to my home asking if I had heating problems because my unit was coming on as it should. I replied letting him know that my furnace was not the issue and I called because my home get cold after the unit shuts off. To make a long story short, he called his boss Pat and was informing him on what he found that may be the problem and that was some duct work may have a leak. Pat informed me himself that they could not fix my problem that I was having, which was a imbalanced problem because I have a 2 story home with only one unit. After it was all said and done Michael charged me a labor fee of $90 when he did not do any labor, every thing that he did was part of his diagnostic test. I should have only been charged for the Diagnostic fee and not a Labor fee. I called and spoke to Tina and she told me that she would call and speak to Pat regarding him telling me that they could not fix my problem. She told me that either her or Pat would call me back. I never received a call back from either of them. I will not use this company for anything else and this was my first time using this company. I will not use a company that charges me for labor when no labor was done. If a company tells you that they cannot fix your issue how do they charge you a labor fee. Very disappointed with my experience with them...
The Wellmans did a great job and did not try to sell me something I did not need. I will hire them again..
Give them a call first! If they can service your area and in your needed time frame, use them. The cost of the repair was very fair, definitely no gauging, just an honest living. Tech showd up on time and had AC repaired quickly plus he did a little extra cleaning of the exterior condenser and coils when he noticed they were dirty just because he wanted to. It's that little extra care you get from a family owned business.
July 5th. 2:00am. Air conditioner goes out. I call KT Wellman Heat & Air and even during a busy day they get us up and running by 1:00pm. A happy camper. Mike who works with Wellman Mechanical was a great guy. Polite. Efficient. Got it done and off he went to help the next family. Thank you.
This is the third time I have used K T Wellman Heat & Air and each time they visit my house they exceed my expectations! After using one of their competitors a few times I have grown very skeptical of many heat and air companies in the area, which is why I call K T Wellman. Most importantly they are friendly and honest, they present common sense solutions to get things working again rather than gouging you for the maximum dollar amount possible. I no longer wonder if the solution that is being presented to me is in my best interest or their best interest. They also take my calls seriously and get me in as soon as possible I highly recommend giving them a try!
One of my foster dogs chewed through a wire leading into my condenser (of course, on a weekend). I called several places. KT Wellman was the only one who answered the phone. Tina actually walked me through how to fix it myself, which spared me a service call on a Sunday. Thank you, Tina, so much; you guys will be getting my future business.
Keith and Tina cam to our home on a moments notice. They did a thorough assessment of our air situation and recommended a solution that saved us thousands. We've definitely found our new "go to" solution for all of our HVAC needs.

This couple is amazing. They are always so friendly and are such hard workers. Working a long day and still making time to come out the same day I call them. They do not overcharge and they take the time to explain what they are doing and what they have to repair. Keith has obviously been doing this for a long time because he seems to know how to repair any a/c or heater problem.

There is a reason this pair has so many 5 star reviews. They are exceptional. I have bounced around from one H&A company to another. No more. These guys are the best hands down. Great service. On time. Courteous. But most importantly fair and informative and did not try to sell me something I didn't need. This is who you want I promise!

Amazing and caring individuals! They came out on a Sunday night to fix our air conditioner so our special needs children wouldn’t go without a/c. Very reasonable prices and so friendly!!
