We hired Kevin to rewire our entire house and upgrade our old fuse box in our old 1916 Dutch Colonial. Our issues with Kevin lie with his communication. Over the 8 months, and the 8 total days he worked his prices kept changing, despite us asking him for a written quote numerous times. We talked about having our final inspection the first week of AUGUST, and we got it at the end of FEBUARY. We wouldn't hear from him for months. Its an older home that he wanted us to tear it down to studs to make it easier for him, without regard to what it would take to put everything back together. That is not why you buy an older home, if we wanted a new build we would have bought one. He does do good work but I would only recommend him if you have a new build, no time restraints and can make sure to get a written quote.
I would highly recommend that you stay away from this business if you need something performed. I have used them in the past, but it seems like they are taking on too much work now and because of that they are not responsive and organized with their jobs. Great way to treat a repeat customer of yours! I contacted them back on October 28, 2021 for a generator hookup. It wasn't until Dec 10th when they were able to get to my home to get an idea as to what they would need to do. On that day I was told they were 5 min. out but in fact it was more than 30 min. After waiting patiently they finally arrived and was told what they planned on performing during the install. I was then told on that day that the install could not be performed until the week of Jan 12th, 2022, which is when I was expecting the generator to arrive. However, the generator arrived on 30/Dec/2021 and let them know this so the week of Jan 12th, 2022 would not be a problem. I contacted them on 07/Jan/2022 to make sure the week of the 12th was still feasible and was told that they would let me know soon as they were working on their schedule. A week later I called to find out what date I would be looking at since the 12th of Jan had already passed? I was told the week of the 24th they would get back to me since they "took on several more jobs." I guess mine is no longer as important as these new jobs??? On 20/Jan/2022 I messaged them letting them know about purchasing a certain part and was told they would order it. From that day until now I have not received any type of communication from this business. My advice is to stay away unless you want to wait, and I mean patiently wait!
Kevin was absolutely fantastic! I recommend K. Opperman Electric 100%. We were doing a master bathroom remodel and he did an amazing job and made great recommendations. He is now my go to Electrician. He is very personable and reliable with great quality of work. - Jerry

Opperman Electric is very professional and personable. They showed up on time and gave me a comprehensive rundown of the work that needs to be done in my home. I appreciated that they not only pointed out potential issues but explained in plain terms why the problems needed to be addressed. Highly recommend!
If your reading this review you don't need to look any further. kevin came to my new home and replace my fixture and did some other minor repairs and was absolutely amazing. He also referred me to some other contractors for some other work needed in my home. I will never use another electrician except kevin when you use him I know you will feel the same way. Kevin is a great electrician. He came the same day I called him (in a few hours), figured out what was wrong then ordered parts to fix my power. As soon as the parts came in he returned to complete the repairs. He even charged me less than his original estimate. I highly recommend him.
Made appointments with two other electricians in the fall river area and both was a no show. Called K.Opperman Electric and they responded and came right away. Helped us figure out high Electric usage. These guys are very professional & knowledgeable with great service. Thank you!!!
I was very impressed when I called Kevin for an appointment he was able to come right away. He explained what he did to fix the outlet . I am very pleased with his service and I would recommend him to anyone needing an electrician. I am looking forward to having him do some additional electric work at my house.
