In 2018 i had another Hvac company install my Mitsubishi mini split system. In the fall of 2021 the unit stopped making heat. The company that sold/installed the unit would not come back out and find the leak and just wanted to replace the line-set at a cost of $600+ with zero diagnostic troubleshooting. Just throwing parts at the problem. K&B Mechanical agreed to come out and find the leak before offering any further solutions. In a matter of hours he had the leak located to the evap inside of the indoor wall unit and not the line-set as the other company claimed would fix the issue. He ordered the part from Mitsubishi, installed and filled the system with refrigerant. And now we are back in business.
