Honest, clear, flexible and work well with home insurance warranties. Honestly i would call them on the fly cause they definitely do their best to solve customer issues. Reps and managers were polite, friendly. Great company and people!!
I've been using K&B for at least a couple yers now. They've been keeping our old heat pump system running as best as possible for as long as possible, but it was now time to replace the system. Since BGE was offering to bring a natural gas line to the house at no charge, we made the decision to go with gas heat and finally feel real warm air coming from the registers! Vince was very flexible in working with the BGE scheduling changes regarding the gas line install, but when we were finally ready, Vince and his crew showed up in the morning, removed the old system, converted us from a full heat pump system to a gas furnace and new AC unit and were wrapped up by 5PM. The heat is warm, the AC is cold and we couldn't be happier! These guys are a pleasure to work with and will remain our go-to guys for any HVAC service. Thank you Vince and company.
Vince and his team gave us a professional quote when our old heat pump was wearing out -- we decided to replace our entire HVAC system with a new Carrier system. Vince was very responsive, came out and did the installation, including a new thermostat and it all looks great! Compared to our old system, this new system really rocks! We recommend Vince highly.
Vincent and Dejuan(sorry if I misspelled name) came out and got the job done! I wish it could have been fixed sooner since I was without heat for a little bit but I’m glad it’s done now. They were professional and quick. They actually FIXED the issue instead of doing a quick duct-tape job. Definitely recommend.
Worst company ever could not fix my furnace but they kept reporting to my warranty company it was fixed..tech spray painted my furnace and made a mess everywhere..
Professional and reliable. I would absolutely use them again. I spoke with Vincent who got a technician out to the property within 24 hours. I had tenants that were concerned about the AC unit. He communicated his evaluation of our AC unit to the tenants and to me after the job. A couple days later the tenants had questions for me, so I reached out to Vincent. He went again to the property to re-evaluate and reassure the tenants and myself. I appreciate his thoroughness, professionalism and this communication with me. I would highly recommend and if I have any HVAC issues in the future, he will be my first call.

If I can give this 0 star I would. I give this company credit for being responsive in installing a furnace when we need heat. But talk about a shoddy job. They installed a new furnace, and upon inspection, it was routed all wrong. The fan is not connected at all, and all other miswiring identified by at least 2 other HVAC companies. We now need to pay other companies to correct these costly mistakes. Stay away, and find someone else more competent.
This company just replaced my system. It was a huge challenge with the existing ductwork but they did it! I am thoroughly impressed and thankful there is a local company that truly cares about their work and their customers.

****Replaced 50 Gallon gas water heater next day 23 Dec - right before Christmas**** I contacted Benson with K&B, he is the owner and also a field technician. This is very impressive given how busy all these repair service companies have been during the pandemic. Why did I choose K&B? Benson, was extremely responsive, competitive prices, takes care of military folks, he is experienced, hands on, recommended by Angi's list, HomeAdvisor and is a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I read the reviews online, and there were several great reviews but there were some negative reviews, however all the 3 other business I was considering also had positive and negative reviews. I received 4 quotes for this job - to replace a 50-gallon gas water heater, Benson's quote without question was the most competitive. One well established company with more than 30 years in the MD area quoted me $1,000.00 more, charged me an estimate fee, the other three quotes were within + $300-$400.00 more than K&B's quote. Two of the three other businesses would be able to install next day, one business quoted me the wrong size water heater, and would need to hire someone to replace - that was an easy decision. Bottomline, Benson is my plumber, HVAC and any other service his company offers from now on. I will recommend him to all my military friends in the MD area, and anyone that needs a solid expert that delivers quality installation, competitive prices, and is responsive. It's hard to find someone who is honest, does what they say they will do, show up on time, and stand by their work. Benson with K&B is your guy!
K&B was contracted through my home warranty because my furnace kept shutting off and my home was not heating up. They came to my home 3 times (a week apart) stating that each time the issue was a dirty flame sensor. I couldn't understand why a flame sensor would need to be cleaned on a weekly basis but I'm no HVAC professional so I accepted what the technician told me. The fourth time they came out they suggested changing the flame sensor. After changing the flame sensor, the furnace was still not working. All of this happened within the course of a month. When they reported to the warranty company, they stated that there was no issue with the furnace. If there was no issue with my furnace...why was it constantly shutting off and why is the temperature in my home staying between 54 - 60 degrees?? Luckily, the warranty company sent someone out to give a 2nd opinion. The new company found that the pressure switch needed to be replaced. I had the same technician from K&B each time, so maybe that particular technician just wasn't very knowledgeable about furnaces. Either way, I would not recommend this company.
My home warranty assigned this company to me for my HVAC tune up and they were absolutely wonderful. As soon as they were assigned they set up an apt with me for the next day and came in the first two hours of the window they gave. The technician was very helpful and informative. This was the best experience I’ve had with a HAVC company. I highly recommend!
Home warranty? Stay FAR away from them. Get someone else to fix your problems because you'll be at their mercy. They don't care, they won't answer, and you won't have any choice but to wait until they feel like it.
Really impressed! Had a very polite tech come on time. He found the problem quickly and fixed it right away. And did all that while I was multitasking with a work Zoom. Great experience!
