Let me tell you about Russell and JRP Heating and Air Conditioning. He is a true professional, and I highly recommend his company for your HVAC service needs. Russell had been expertly maintaining my aging HVAC system for the last few years, but after 21 years, the system really needed to be replaced with a newer, more efficient system. Russell explained all of my options, and after deciding on the type and size of the system needed for my home’s square footage, he was able to quickly acquire the necessary equipment, and scheduled the installation. Truly a feat in the middle of the “supply chain” crisis of 2021. From the removal of the old system, to the final installation of the new one, he was completely engaged, and determined to deliver a perfect result. His attention to detail, unwillingness to compromise on quality, and his affable personality made the whole experience very pleasant. He was happy to explain every step of the process to me, and never hesitated to answer any questions I had. He and his assistant, Shawn were very respectful of my home, and followed a strict pandemic-oriented safety procedure; wearing masks, social distancing, etc. In the end, my home is more comfortable and efficient, and I can rest assured knowing that the job was done right. Russell was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He made an attempt to repair the system first before throwing in the towel and suggesting a replacement. He was able to fix the issue quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service and reasonable prices! Will definitely be calling him again if we have any issues.

Seriously cannot recommend JRP / Russell enough. I found JRP / Russell just browsing like you, and figured with the pandemic stuff going on, I'd take a shot on a small local operation. I hung around off and on, just to hear what he had to say about the system - he explained things clearly and kept me informed. I started the conversation with: "I know the unit is old, so a full replacement is on the table", but not once did he recommend it or push the idea. The extent of his recommendations for a new system were "if you're going to do it, I offer these brands, and they'll cost this much, but let me finish up this inspection because you might not really need it". After about an hour, he called me back outside and said everything was looking good on the hardware side, but I needed some additional freon. He completed that, and now instead of 68 degree air from the in-house vents, I'm seeing about 55-58 degree air. As long as Russell is in business, I'll be calling him for AC inspection, maintenance, and replacement. He was: - punctual, here at 9am, on the dot - knowledgeable, and very willing to explain things at whatever level you as the customer seems to want - respectful, wearing a mask the whole time we interacted, always disclosing costs before doing things, and letting me decide what I wanted done after his recommendation He's able to keep prices low because his operation is so small, just him and 1-2 other folks when they're needed - I don't *want* prices to go up with operation overhead, but this guy does great work, and you should give him a call.

Russell has done an outstanding job. He replaced my AC unit at my house a few years ago. He is always very responsive, shows up on time and does a great job. When The drain line clogged recently he came out, cleared it for me, showed me how to do it and didn’t even charge me for the call. He goes above and beyond to do the job right and has outstanding customer service. I would definitely recommend him for your heating and air conditioning needs!!
I can’t say enough to recommend JRP. Twice over the last two years I’ve had problems with my heating/AC that they fixed promptly and at a fair price.
So glad we were referred to JRP heating & air. Russel gave us the best quote when we were in a bind with a broken AC last week. He was flexible & even came to rescue us in the evening! We will use JRP for all our heating & AC issues from here on out.

After one company no showed and after calling about 10 local Heating and Air companies in Hutto with no answers or call backs, I called JRP. He responded quickly and came out to my house within 2 hours. Very friendly, looks you in the eye when he speaks to you, and very knowledgeable. He went up in the attic, diagnosed the problem in minutes and was done in the blink of an eye. Will definitely use again and will recommend him to whoever needs Heating and Air services. Thanks guys!
Some other reviews note that Russell goes above and beyond, and that's absolutely the case. He was very flexible with scheduling, and his prices are extremely competitive. He's a craftsman who takes pride in his work, and it shows in the finished product.
Russell was available on short notice to replace our HVAC system. He's thorough, detailed, and will keep at it until everything is just right. If you like quality work at a fair price, don't hesitate to give him a call.

Russell was available to come out and check on my heating unit with two hours of giving him a call. Unfortunately, the piece was not available on that particular day since the inventory place was closed for the holiday. The next day, Russell was able to grab the piece and come over to complete the repair. Russell also checked on the warranty of the equipment and we were able to save some money since it was still valid. Great work Russell and thank you!
