Good service, reasonable price
We originally scheduled for a different company to come out and just do a tune up for the upcoming season, but it turned into being told that we needed to completely replace our AC unit. We called John Brown Heating & Cooling, Inc. and from the person who answered the phone to the technician who came out, was absolutely wonderful! We were able to get our unit maintenance done and for much less than we were quoted elsewhere. We will definitely be using them again!

Our heating system stopped working suddenly. We called John and he came out the same day. He came with another technician and they found the problem. They had the part with them to install and get our system running again. They were both professional and courteous. The service was excellent and the price was very affordable. When our heat pump wasn’t working correctly, my neighbor recommended John Brown 100%. When he first came out (March 2022), he quickly assessed the situation and explained to us how supply chain issues have been a nightmare and the part we needed was on back order. However, he had a part from an old unit and was able to install that part while we waited. Fast forward to December 2022 when the new part was available and he was able to work us in. I am sure other HVAC companies would have wanted to sell us a new unit, but John was honest and told us it was worth fixing. My husband and I appreciate this honesty and how he went above and beyond to get the part off the old unit while waiting . When it comes time to replace our unit, we know John Brown will do a great job. Thanks, John!
The motor on my furnace (which also controls the fan for my AC) locked up and burned on Saturday. Having been told my unit would need to be replaced I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. John happened to come into the restaurant I manage on Monday for lunch. I explained to him what happened and he said the motor probably just needed to be replaced. I asked if he would have a look. He was at my home the next morning and by the time I got home from work my upstairs was freezing cold. He could have told me that he discovered the unit needed to be replaced but he was honest and all I needed was a new motor. Rare find these days. He will have my business from here on out! Great company, fairly priced, and professional. We had the opportunity of dealing with the owner directly, who was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share his experience and expertise. Very informative all while not trying to sell anything. They came out on time exactly when they said they would and took care of the problem. Nothing more and nothing less. Locally owned and operated, professional, and got the job done in no time. They made us feel like family and we know who we will be calling next time.

John Brown has been taking care of my HVAC since we moved to Indian Trail, NC. He is honest as they come and in the heating and cooling business that is essential. John is very skilled and always returns my calls quickly, which is huge since he is the one answering the phone when I call. He isn't going to upsell you to something you do not need and will shoot you straight on your unit. Simply one of the best in the business.
My heat pump quit working. Once John got parts, it was fixed quickly. My heat pump works line new again. Best money I've spent in a while. Tks john
