I contacted Jim late evening. Exactly 18 hours later i had a new water tank installed and up and running and hot water accessible again !!!! Jim came in with his crew. Amazing people!!! Extremely professional in both their demeanour as well as their equipment. Jim has 45 years of experience under his belt and he even taught me how to maintain and fix stuff. He is genuine and honest. I highly recommend him and personally vouch on the quality of his work. Thank you Jim and team for your dedication and service!!!!

Jim is great! Our oil company referred him to us when we woke up without heat or hot water and I am so grateful for how quickly he responded. Jim was upfront and honest. Jim spent 25 minutes explaining how to rewrite the pilot on my heating system. He was very patient and understanding. I would highly recommend Jim's Plumbing & Heating. Jim was extremely responsive and arrived exactly when he said he would on multiple occasions. He availed me all of all my options never pressuring me to make a decision. He allowed me time to contemplate my options, and educated me on the issues I was experiencing. When the time came to replace my furnace Jim was able to have it done within six hours, he and his colleagues Joe and Sammy were great. They were very efficient, clean and professional. I researched prices and Jim's was very fair, and I'm extremely happy that I chose to move forward with him, because Jim is an old school guy who takes pride in his work, and stands behind it.

Awesome easy to deal with and stands behind his product . I called him a few weeks ago and said i had no hot water . I described the problem jim said send me a pic of the tag . He called me an hour later says there is a recall on my water heater and since he installed it he was calling a distributor to get parts and he would be on his way over in a couple of hours . Our oil company gave us his name because he is who they use. He came out and looked at our boiler and furnace and didn’t touch a thing and said we needed to replace the entire unit!! He quoted my brother $10,000 and then when I talked to him he upped the price another $500!! We got a second opinion and all that needed to be replaced was our expansion tank and it was only a $200 repair! Such an awful awful experience!

Jim and his team were quick to respond to our plumbing issue, we had a tricky situation that popped up unexpectedly and the guys worked hard to avoid having to cut into the walls to reach a tricky spot. Jim answered his phone right away when other plumbers we called didn't and he kept us updated with how the job was going throughout the day. He also charged us a very reasonable price. My hot water heater decided it was time to go on a Saturday morning recently. I called everyone within a few mile radius of Clinton with no response at 8:00am but he was the only one who answered. He and his son were here by 10:30am that same morning and installed a brand new quality water heater and out by 2:00 in the afternoon. Did all new hookups since my existing ones couldn't support a larger heater (I upgraded). They were prompt, patient (2 obnoxious dogs constantly barking and trying to get in their faces), and answered later that afternoon when I had a question on something. Couldn't have asked for more. I'm very happy and will continue to use them for my plumbing needs.

Pro: I called because I was having trouble shutting off the water in a vacant townhome. Jim came out right away (even though it wasn’t an emergency) and helped me turn the water off. Con: I explained that the townhome was on the market and I wanted to shut off the water for the winter to prevent frozen pipes. He said I should probably winterize the system. I said I would but I couldn’t do anything that day. Could he get back to me to make an appointment? I got a text a few days later saying he wanted to come over right then. When I explained I wasn’t available and asked his schedule in the near future....I got ignored. Zero response. UPDATE: went to turn water back on, and now we have a broken pipe!

we have used Jim's plumbing on a few occasions and I am very impressed with his service.We called him for a last minute job as I was having granite counters coming in the next day and needed the pipes re routed and faucet installed.He was here as promised.on a Friday!Then came Saturday to complete the job! Got a new furnace installed by these guys last year, they were great and professional. Recently I had a problem where the temperature was not getting beyond 70 degrees on the first floor and 64 degrees on the second. I called Jim up and let him know the problem, adding that it was intermittent. He took the time to walk me through some basic troubleshooting over the phone, which was great. In the end he said he needed to take a look at it. His guys came a day after and just my luck things were working fine when they came. They couldn’t see anything wrong and asked me to call back when it wasn’t working again. It stopped working that night. Up to this point Jim and his team were pros, and it kinda pains me to give them two stars, but their service after this point was horrible. They never came back. He ignored my call the day after. When I finally got him, Jim seemed to imply that I was wasting his time, and he would get here and it would be working again; as if I had made it up or the cold was a figment of my imagination. He then called me crazy for having the thermostat set to 74, which according to him is too hot. Besides the fact that it’s not his business what I set the temperature of my house to, he completely missed the point that 74 is a temperature the system can support, and it’s not getting there. In the end I had to go with someone else to solve the problem. Go with Jim if you don’t mind getting into a shouting match when he thinks you’re pretending about your problem or using a legal setting that he personally would not. Otherwise you may be better off with someone else.
