Of all of the above listed services to choose from, I believe I have had them for too many to choose from…in other words- I keep calling them back because I know I will be getting quality & affordability=ALWAYS! Thank you to all of you there!
As a retired Marine myself I appreciate people who have unyielding integrity. They repaired my heating system in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. I will refer them to all my clients, family and friends. Thank you Carl for a job well done. Semper Fi
OUCH $12.05 vs $3500.00 Our air conditioning was not blowing cold so we called Jeff~n~Carl's Plumbing-Heating-Air in Oceanside. We made appointment for the following Monday. Tim showed and explaining that the installation should have been done differently. But nothing was under any warranty. When he wrote the estimate stating I needed a new condensing unit and a new metering device and may have further problems after that. All totaling $3500. I questioned the breakdown of this estimate as he said parts where about $1500-2000. That left $1500 in labor which he promptly said the company gets that not him. I said I would get back after I digested this estimate. I then remembered one of my friends worked at a construction company which he does Air Conditioning. He said he would swing by after work in a couple days. So Bob showed promptly asked what they did and checked the same items. Bob found the capacitor had power but was not sending power to the pump. He removed it and we bought the part which I thought was going to be expensive,$12.05 was cost total. Off we went and install. Worked perfect nice and cold. Labor is going to cost me a beer for the two hours he was here. Bob said this is typical of some companies. The capacitor would of been part of the larger expensive condensing unit that they wanted to replace. Shame on companies that do this.
