We were in desperate need of a new system after a catastrophic failure of our condenser unit. After fighting with my inept home warranty company I finally got a quote back with, no surprise here, sub-par equipment. Complicating this further was the lack of confidence we had in the servicer they identified for us. Sick of the run around and of not having AC, I reached out to these guys and pleaded for help. They came out the same day to take a look and by the next day I had a series of quotes, ranging from budget friendly to top of the line. They patiently talked through options with us, answered our questions, and we’re able to squeeze us in that Saturday. They worked all day without complaints and got us back up and running, maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude throughout. We couldn’t be happier with the service they provided and we will absolutely use them from here in n for our HVAC servicing needs. Thank you!
They were very responsive to my questions. Also very informative of the ac options and the benefits of each. The install went great and now I know I will survive the summer! Will definitely utilize their services again!
Jonathan and Larry showed up and knocked out fixing my failed outdoor compressor unit in record time. They were polite, engaged, and transparent -- they invited me to stay for the repair, taught me some things about how to get the most life out of my nine-year-old unit, and showed me the multimeter reading on the failed capacitor so that I could observe the failure for myself. They were available the day after I emailed and responded promptly to messages. They didn't try to upsell me for anything. I cannot fathom calling anyone else for HVAC issues at this point.
Absolutely fantastic service. We were out of the country when our AC broke. They worked incredibly hard to diagnose the issue and maintained excellent communication even despite the time difference. Pricing is extremely fair and the work is solid. Do not hesitate to hire these guys!!
5 Stars for Jonathan and his team. I needed to replace my 20-year-old HVAC system. Jonathan was quick to respond, straightforward on pricing, and *significantly* less expensive than the competition. Further, he was available to perform the work right away and completed it all in a day. They use high-quality products with Carrier systems and the latest thermostat technologies. I would highly recommend JD Mechanical for all of your HVAC needs.
I needed my gas dryer installed and some updated gas lines installed and JD came in and got the job done. Very thorough and professional.
I got two other estimates before calling JD Mechanical Services. After speaking with Jonathan, who I felt was very knowledgeable about the products, we setup an appointment for him to come out for consultation and get measurements. Jonathan answered all my questions (example: How long will it take to get the products? Will you remove the old products on the same day? When the products need servicing, will parts be hard to get? Are you licensed and will the systems have warranty? etc...) I was satisfied with how my old systems worked, but I was very concerned if the new systems would work as well. Jonathan put my mind at ease. I was impressed with how well informed he was about his craftsmanship and how polite he was. I replaced my original AC/HVAC & Water Tank that lasted 21 years. JD Mechanical Services sent me three quotes for three different models for comparison. I decided to go with Trane for AC & HVAC and AO Smith Water Tank. You will not be disappointed with JD Mechanical Services Heating & Cooling LLC. BTW I did not go with the cheapest, but rather I went with what I discerned to be great products coming from an excellent company.

My TRANE furnace of 18 years died on us. With the winter cold now upon us we needed a furnace immediately. Saw the reviews of JD Mechanical LLC and called them. They came out did a thorough check of my existing furnace and found the control board was no longer functioning. I decided to replace my 18 year old furnace with a new TRANE furnace. JD Mechanical installed my new furnace with outstanding professionalism. I highly recommend them for all heating and air conditioning jobs. Price, Quality and Professionalism on a job well done.
AMAZING!!!! Within hours, my request for an appointment was answered and I had an appointment the next morning. I knew I was in good hands when they stated they were here to repair and they wanted to have things fixed by the end of the day. And they did it! It is not uncommon for a repair tech to need more than one day for fix a problem. I was given the maximum attention, they were detailed in their review of my system, and they provided possible solutions, and immediately worked on trying to solve my problem same day. I truly felt the advice I was given as a homeowner was authentic and reliable due to their industry knowledge of heating and cooling systems. I will definitely be using their services for any future needs. I highly recommend their services to anyone. No gimmicks or sales pitch here.
JD Mechanical is professional, polite, responsive, timely, and quality service. I recommend them for all HVAC concerns over anyone. If you have a home warranty, make sure they have a contract with them. Otherwise, you will have issues, ESPECIALLY if you have American Home Shield. i called UNITED AIR TEMP after working with them via my home warranty company, American Home Shield (WHICH YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM BOTH COMPANIES AT ALL COSTS. UNITED AIR TEMP are scammers, rip-offs, and they PURPOSELY damaged my unit, leading me to have to purchase a new one.) As a result, I contacted JD Mechanical to come in and repair, and they repaired what they could. However, ultimately, I had to purchase a brand-new HVAC. The total amount of the repairs would have cost me more than purchasing a new system. I purchased the new HVAC through them, and within two days, it was fully installed. I now have heat and AC. Outside of their stellar service; I appreciated their concern about making sure I was prepared for the seasonal changes (making sure I had heat) and that the unit was safe within my home. They are the optimal example of high-quality customer service and satisfaction and HVAC professionalism; they were patient, kind, and timely throughout this entire ordeal. There is a lot to this situation, and if you want further details head to Yelp. But long story short, I called Jon and within two days, we finalized the work to be done, the system I was going to get, the custom pieces needed, the financing, scheduling, and they came out and did it all in a day. Literally, they were here from 7am – 11pm installing, cutting, piping, grinding, checking, rechecking, just making sure everything was perfect. (Jon is a bit OCD, but I appreciate it!) The day they installed they brought Mr. Dwayne with him, and he was great as well (he has a teaching spirit on him). They took only one lunch break. My motor on my furnace died and we had no AC in a August heatwave!! JD,came out on a Friday after hours and replaced the motor and cleaned my system. He was extremely knowledgeable , professional and provided great customer. I will definitely be using his service again.
Our AC suddenly stopped working on a very hot day. With my wife being 40 weeks pregnant and with a toddler under 2, we could not afford to spend another night without the AC running. Jonathan and team arrived the next day on a short notice. They were able to quickly investigate and point out the problem we had, providing us with options to move forward. Essentially, we had to replace the inside and outside units. The jobs was done clean, fast and professionally. Loved doing business with Jonathan and we will remain long-term customers. We recently had JD Mechanical replace our older AC with a new heat pump. Jonathan and team were incredibly professional and obvious experts in every aspect of the system. They were able to install and adapt the new equipment to our existing ducts, getting everything running perfectly in just a couple days. They worked with me to keep costs down as much as possible by thinking of alternative solutions to each issue, unlike many companies that will insist everything just be removed and replaced. I'll for sure call JD Mechanical for any other work I need.
I HIGHLY recommend JD Mechanical Services for all your HVAC needs. I needed a thermostat installed and they delivered. They were able to fix wiring issues caused by a previous individuals faulty work. They were able to do same day work and address all the questions I had. They were also very personable, professional, and wore masks during the entire installation. Don’t go with a large company and give this local service a call!!!

JD Mechanical Services is very professional and provided a thorough review of my heating and AC system. They checked the effectiveness of my systems as well as advised me concerning whether my system was working efficiently. JD provided pictures and videos for each area they were servicing and let me know what the meter readings should be and why. This was by far the most comprehensive service appointment I have ever had for my heating and HVAC systems. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend them!
