James was able to come the day I called. His rates are reasonable and he is very conscientious as well as knowledgeable.
James is amazing and crazy reasonable. Our furnace motor died. He came at 4pm on a Friday night and had it up and running (after he had to go to Milwaukee to pick up the replacement motor) in 3 hours! So impressive. Definitely recommend him!!!
We called Jim on a Friday night because our furnace was short cycling and the heat wouldn’t turn on. I can’t say enough about how professional and prompt his service was. Jim is extremely knowledgeable and was generous enough to share some tips and basic know how with me. I will never call anyone else but Jim again for any HVAC repairs, he is class and just overall a very good guy. Thanks Jim!
James has come out to our home several times and has done a great job. Honest, fair pricing, and reliable. We are always able to get ahold of him and will continue to use his company.
Jim goes over and above in professionalism and customer service. He did some repair work to our AC system this past summer and showed up when he said he would and fixed our issue at a very reasonable price. He also tuned up our furnace prior to the heating season this past fall. Very prompt and just a good guy. Highly recommend!!
Our furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days of the season which also happened to be 2 days before Christmas. After attempting to fix it on my own I eventually conceded and called James. He was super nice and made it to our house within an hour...on Christmas Eve morning! He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in about an hour. He had the required parts on hand and he explained the problem and process the entire time. The house was toasty warm and ready to receive our soon to arrive guests for the weekend. Can't thank him enough and highly recommend him. He definitely will be my first call going forward for future needs.
When my heater stopped working a couple of days ago, I called several companies in the area, and James Heating & Air Conditioning offered the best solution for best price. Firstly, when I called the company, I was connected with James immediately. I didn't have to speak with an assistant who then would call me back or offer a technician to call me back. Secondly, unlike other companies that were not sure when their technicians would be available, James offered to come and look at my heater within an hour. Thirdly, when James came to my house, he was knowledgeable, professional, and affable. He explained what the problem was with my heater and offered the best solution for the best price. I highly recommend him and will absolutely use his services in the future.

James had been out by us for the first time this past spring. Our HVAC system was about 32 years old. I was concerned that we needed to replace the central air but after a thorough cleaning and minor component replacement, we were cool and comfortable all summer. When James returned to service our furnace last week, one of the exchangers was in pretty bad shape. I had noticed the furnace had been getting loud at times and so James recommended Coutts Heating and Air to us as James does not install new systems. James is friendly, knowledgeable and professional as well as reasonably priced and we look forward to continue having him perform our spring and fall system maintenance visits. We highly recommend Jim.

I called him on a Saturday, answered right away. Told me he was working on something then would head over. Got here in 30 min. Guy was absolutely awesome! Educated me on things I could check and look out for. Didn’t try to rip me off like others do. Rate was really cheap for an emergency call. You would not be disappointed! I’m really into reviews and help others get good service which is hard to find these days
We cannot say enough great things about James Heating and Air Conditioning!!! He was super nice and we had the best service ever! Our furnace stopped working over the weekend and he came over within the hour and had our house warm in no time. We are so grateful and we will definitely be using his service again. We called James on a Sunday and he was able to come out within a few hours! He did outstanding work, was extremely professional and friendly and the repair rates were very reasonable. James did a great job, arrived early !!!. Not only did he fix my 30 year old A/C with a few parts , but also went down in the basement and gave a quick look at the furnace (not 30 years old...lol). So glad I found James.
Called James and he was there within an hour and he fixed our AC so fast. We have a baby who wouldn’t sleep because of the heat and 3 dogs. It felt like 100 degrees outside and it was 85 in the house. Every other company I called was rude, busy, or not open except for James! We highly recommend him and not to mention he has very good pricing!
