James Bros Mechanical installed my new furnace and a/c unit. They were always on time if not early. Mike always was available for questions and took time to help me understand the entire process without talking down to someone with little knowledge of mechanics. I would recommend giving them your business.
Highly recommend this company! Very prompt, professional and competitively priced. Mike Montoya, the owner, has tremendous HVAC knowledge and several decades of experience. He was able to perfectly diagnose what I needed to consider for AC replacement, provide good/better/best options with a high-quality manufacturer, and not only did a perfect installation, he also improved the comfort in my home by removing hot and cold spots from our house so every level in the home feels comfortable. He made the new AC unit work perfectly with our existing furnace, and made some nice upgrades to the furnace that provides better air flow throughout the house. Nobody else could have done any better. He also follows up with you, too, to make sure everything is working to your satisfaction. 5-stars!
The gentleman that came out to my home to fix a gas leak was there within a couple of hours. They did not charge me any emergency fees or anything like that that other companies quoted me. He explained everything he was doing very clearly. Pricing was more than fair and repair was made cleanly and professionally. I will absolutely be calling James Bros back for any needs in the future and will be referring them to everyone I can. I couldn’t speak more highly of them
James Brothers always does a fantastic job. I have an older home that could remind you of the movie 'Money Pit'. However, James Bros., is who you turn to when you want to pay for quality work and ensure that what's broke really gets fixed. I've grown weary of 'subject matter experts' taking advantage of folks and you certainly don't need to worry about that with Mike and his team. I've had issues with my condenser, frozen coils, clogged lines, etc. Mike walked me thru why things happened and then made recommendations for preventing them from happening in the future. Clearly they know their craft and are willing to take the time to educate people. I'll be using James Brothers for all things AC and heating.
I had Mike at James Brothers Mechanical install a Daikin mini split system at my home and he was excellent! From estimate to job completion Mike kept me informed. He’s super knowledgeable, hardworking and clearly cares about doing a job right. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go with James Brothers!
Mike was extremely responsive to our initial request for a quote, coming to our home within days for the estimate. He was the most honest about what work would be necessary and gave us options to choose from. Scheduling with office was quick and easy and he finished within a day leaving us with a cool home. Very professional, responsive, and reasonable. Highly recommend.
Mike was great! When our air conditioner stopped working, I was referred to Mike to come check out the problem and get a quote. We got quotes from 4 other businesses and felt Mike was the best option to replace our Air Conditioner. He has worked for the utility, has extensive experience in the field, and has a pragmatic approach. He came to our house on time and his quote was fair. He started the work, and halfway through the install, he discovered a problem. A leak somewhere in our refrigerant copper pipe. This was VERY STRESSFUL. My husband and I called around for ideas on how to find the leak, we cut through the drywall in the inside of our house and Mike found the hole. He then found some products to be able to mend the leak without having to use his torch in the walls. It worked. He fixed the air conditioner, it held the pressure, and we are so relieved. He is a really positive, careful contractor and I am thankful that he took the time to do it right.
Quick to respond and honest in their dealings, James Bros provided excellent service and when another company suggested an entirely new furnace James Bros found a way to repair and certify the unit at 1/5th the cost. Will us in the future to be sure.
Mike was fantastic! I had a gas leak identified by Xcel Energy and contacted a couple of companies to get the repair done in a timely fashion. Mike was able to come out within 24 hours, evaluate the work that needed to be done and complete the work later that same day. Mike restructured the venting out of both the boiler and water heater for a safer and more efficient operation. He also applied a new hand shut off for both appliances. While Mike was there to do a job, he was also very personable during his visit, making me feel more comfortable about the situation as whole. At the end, I discussed with Mike future projects including converting from a Swamp Cooler to Air Conditioning. That is in the works and I will be using James Bros Mechanical again very soon!
Mike came out for water heater repair and maintenance and plumbing repair. His scheduler was responsive and easy to work with. Mike was professional and efficient and advised on a way to save over $200 on a part for the water heater which was awesome! All around, very happy. We’ll be calling Mike again for any future repairs and installs.
I had central air installed in a 900 sq ft house in Denver. The workers were on time and prompt! They gave a clear time frame and completed the job within the timeframe. The installation process was explained to me prior to install and all of my questions were answered. The workers also cleaned up after themselves. I appreciate the quality of the work and highly recommend to anybody in the market for central air installation!
We had an emergency natural gas leak at a valve leading to our furnace and also a hole in a vent pipe from the furnace leaking CO2. This happened on a Friday night. Mike from James Bros. was able to come out the next morning and fix both issues. He was fast, efficient, and best of all did not charge extra for week-end work. His price was more than fair! We were very pleased with the service.
Let me start by saying that Mike is amazing. He fit me into his schedule last minute to repair some gas plumbing before a snow storm so that the heat could be turned back on. He not only does great work, but equally as important, he is responsive and timely which is massive in my opinion. I’m glad to know Mike and his company, and am confident my jobs are being handled by the best when I call him.
Mike did a phenomenal job. We had a gas leak and he came out to our house the next morning which was a Sunday. He found 4 leaks and had them all repaired in no time. He also fixed plumbing which wasn’t up to code. I highly recommend him for any job. He stands behind his work. Thanks!

He install a new furnace and air conditioner in my house after multiple repairs of my old one. He will do what it takes to get your problem solved.
