Interior Weather has proven to be an invaluable resource to my company. They are professional, easy to work with, courteous and exceptionally knowledgeable. As a general contractor I work with numerous trades and without exception Interior Weather Inc is my go to hvac service professional. Services provided include: numerous new heating and air system installation, thermostats, mini-split systems, ductwork and install. I am sure there are more services I am failing to mention, but these are just a few that come to mind.
I had a good experience working with Interior Weather on a Geo-thermal installation. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fair, reliable, and punctual company to help them with their HVAC needs.
I have used Brant and Interior Weather several times throughout the years. Brant is always a pleasure to speak with and takes the time to explain things so they make sense. I find their pricing fair and their service pleasant and helpful. I always find Brant and his team knowledgeable, responsive, and reliable. If I need any help in the future I wouldn't hesitate to call Interior Weather.
Service dmy heat pump via my home warranty last fall. Very difficult to get him to call me back to schedule. They only answered texts and I no longer have that number. . Had the compressor replaced which was covered by warranty. Charged me multiple times the actual cost ( per internet searches) for the 407C replacement coolant saying that AHS didn't pay them enough for the job so they had to make their money somehow. I told him that this was price gauging and I was filing a complaint. Cost me $ 865 for this substitute It now sounds like an airplane taking off. Just turned the AC on for the first time last week and it doesn't work. I tried emailing the company twice and warranty tried contacting them to get them back out here to fix this. We did not receive a response. Had another company come out and said the compressor is faulty but they couldn't service it so now I need a third company to come out. Meanwhile - no ac and turning on the fan is prohibitively loud. I would be much happier if the price had been fair and the company responded to communication.
Brant did not follow through with an agreement because he was "too busy" or not interested in the work we discussed, but only after stringing me along for a week. **Update. Offered $250 to paint some gas lines black and put a label on them plus cost of permit on 3/31. Our initial conversation of scope and general understanding of time involved on 3/19.
Professional and responsive. Conscientious about wearing a mask and even taking shoes off on white carpets to do repairs. Over the last 5 years, they have installed a new heating/AC system, a commercial sized dehumidification system, a UV light system to prevent mold, replaced 3 thermostats, and done numerous repairs, even coming one year on xmas eve to do a repair. The owner puts those without any heat or AC first, so his schedule is always tight and has to be changed to accommodate emergencies. I'd highly recommend this company.
A better edit: Interior Weather Heating & Air came out not because we requested them, but it was the one used by our insurance company and we did not have the choice. They provided a bill to my insurance company of what would be covered and what would not. It is not their responsibility of what the insurance company covers, which I acknowledge and accept, however they were very unresponsive numerous times when trying to obtain an itemized invoice and are very poor in general on any communication At this point in time the $3200ish bill that I would owe to my insurance company is a lump sum with no itemization of how this is come up with and they refuse to itemize it. My insurance company won't budge on that price and at this point it is a number provided without full explanation of it, the number is the number and that is not how business should be conducted. My AC has already been fully replaced by another company who was able to provide exact documentation of what I was being charged for rather than just a verbal quote sent without my knowledge If you want to be charged an arbitrary number, with no communication of how they arrived to that, have fun with them. I would advise to pay attention to the very low ratings
I've used Interior Weather Heating & Air for several repair jobs and a new install project and they've been great every time.
I was referred to this company by my home warranty company on June 27th because I submitted a service request for my air conditioning, it had went completely out. I called the day I was referred and the next day, explaining that it was over 100 degrees in my home and I would really like to get something on the schedule as soon as possible; I have a family that includes minors, asthmatics, and fur and it's over 90 degrees outside. I just wanted to have some type of idea of when it would get fixed. I have still not heard anything from anyone. I ended getting a hotel for the weekend, I would have appreciated some sort of consideration and care as a potential client/referral, putting aside that my children and I are in need of air conditioning unit services in this weather. Everyone knows about this 98 degree weather stretch, it's just seems like complete disregard and disrespect as a consumer and person.
Service was great! They called right away and thought ahead to get all the information from me to enable him to bring parts making it a completed repair in one visit. I can highly recommend!
Came to service our a/c that was not working ...he was sent by our Home warranty company ..American Home Shield. Last year had same problem and another company fixed with more refrigerant. Brant did same thing but this did not fix the issue after all. I think he must have known this because he assured me that if it wasn’t cooling again he would refund the $$ I paid him for refrigerant ( not covered by my home warranty) and he would do more thorough exam. When I called 2 days after he came to tell him it was not cooling he did not answer or respond to multiple messages left. Finally, after reporting issue to AMerican Home Shield he responded and set up appointment 5 days out . Well, he No Showed for that appointment and still is not responding to messages left. It’s now been 2 weeks without a//c and I am out over $100 on top of my copay to the American Home Shield. I realize it is a very busy time of year and he is overworked / overbooked but it seems only professional to at least respond to phone calls. If he is so busy he needs to hire someone to do his scheduling and respond to requests for him.
I bought a gas range and microwave and needed it installed plus exterior venting for the microwave. They arrived on time, were courteous, and cleaned up after the job was done. They had to run the gas line from under the house to the kitchen. I was extremely pleased with the job.
We have used Interior Weather for several years now. They have been great with keeping our older HVAC system running year after year. During last year's ice storm our system was having a hard time keeping the house warm. Interior weather went above and beyond and actually came out and got it working again. It has been running strong ever since. I highly recommend this company!
So glad I used Brant to install heat pump in my 1000 sq ft shop. Brant was on time and professional from start to Finnish. The unit he recommended is so quiet and keeps the shop nice and warm. I could not be happier.
Brant is one of those rare contractors who responds quickly when you call or email, is on time for appointments, and provides great service at a reasonable price. I can't recommend him enough!
Interior Weather really went above and beyond. I felt like Brant genuinely cared about my house. He helped me find the right (super efficient) HVAC system for my home and garage and was within budget. During the estimating process he talked me through all the various options so I understood how to compare the various options. I can't recommend Interior Weather Heating & Air enough.
I met Brant when he was working with another company we hired to install two geothermal systems at our new home. After Brant left that company and started Interior Weather, the company we had hired still used him as a consultant on our system and asked him to do some of the specialized work their staff wasn't qualified to do. More recently, I asked Brant to service the HVAC at our old home as we get it ready to sell. We had a problem with one unit not starting, and I had been told another unit was low on pressure a year earlier, although they couldn't find a leak. That repair person had thought it might be that a valve cover hadn't been put on. I felt we should have everything tested since I didn't want to sell the house with any issues. Brant scheduled a visit promptly, isolated the problem in the unit that wouldn't start very quickly. It turned out the movers had hit a switch on the air handler when clearing out the attic. That was the least expensive HVAC repair ever. Brant also checked the pressures in the other systems, found a leak in the coil of the one that had been low. He was able to get a new coil under warranty, and had all three of the units here running perfectly in just a few hours. His fees are very reasonable based on what I've paid in the past, he does excellent work, and he's trustworthy. Brant is now my go to guy for anything HVAC, which means I need to call him again since we just put a fence post through a gas line for our pool heater (no worries, the gas wasn't on or we wouldn't have been digging there).
