I am a landlord and my rental lost A/C at the beginning of summer. As a landlord I decided to go as budge friendly as posable. I decided to do a DIY A/C. After it arrived I realized I would have trouble doing all the install my self. I contacted several companies before Innovative Mechanical Solutions and many were not willing to help or advise me. But Innovative Mechanical Solutions did they were friendly and understand and willing to work with me to fix the A/C system. I talked to Joseph and his assistant Alex. I had them come and discharged the system so I could remove old equipment and take to dump. Joseph and Alex were so helpful with information and advice. When I ran into a problem I called Joseph. I ask if they would do the work I couldn't do and the said Yes. I can't say enough good things about Innovative Mechanical Solutions Being willing to work with me and not just trying to sell me a new A/C system. Working with Joseph and his understanding that budget was tight and allowing me to do what I could to reduce costs is why I will continue to use Innovative Mechanical Solutions and Joseph for any future hvac issues on my rental or personal property. I found Innovative Mechanical Solutions last summer when my old and tired ac unit broke during the heat wave. They came out and got it up and running right away. This year I wasn't about to take any chances so IMS was my first and only call. The entire team did an exceptional job removing and installing my new ac and furnace. The communication and straight forward style of doing business was refreshing. I have dealt with several other hvac providers over the years, I am grateful I will never need to contact any of them again. IMS is my go to company for all my hvac needs.
Will NEVER use again. Fried our heat coils in a less than year old system and is now saying our warranty is void and won’t fix it!

Chris and his team installed a mini split heat pump in my office shed, and I couldn't be happier with their work! It looks great, it passed inspection, and they not only came out quickly to do it, they worked quickly and finished the job with no delays. Can't recommend them enough!

Do not call anyone else! I just had Chris at Innovative Mechanical Solutions fix an issue with my water source heat pump. I called this morning and he was able to come out this afternoon. His knowledge of my system was outstanding and had it fixed in no time. I Highly recommend this company!

We had Chris come to do a heat pump installation. He was very upfront and looked out for our best interest. It may sound like he was trying to sell a bunch to us, but in reality he wanted us to have a system that would last. This is our forever home and he wanted us to have the most efficient system at the best price! The furnace that came with the home was a nice one, however upon further investigation he discovered that it wasn’t proficient for the square footage of the house. Chris went above and beyond expectations and did a thorough inspection of the duct work and saw that it was built too small. He believed it to be the reason for the drastic temperature difference from one side of the house to the other. He was able to make some adjustments and now we have an amazing HVAC system! We can’t even hear the it turn on! The airflow is phenomenal throughout the entire house! Chris and his crew did an amazing job, in a very efficient time frame. He is competitive with his prices, very knowledgeable, also takes pride in his work which is worth it’s weight in gold. I would recommend Innovative Mechanical to anyone and everyone with HVAC needs. We are a customer for life!
If you're looking to some quality HVAC work done, Chris at Innovative Mechanical Solutions should be your first call. He was able to update our nearly antique ductwork and install a new zone heating system. I'm willing to bet that this house has never had the airflow it has now - even when it was a new install. The work was done quickly and, for us, way less than any other quote (for those who would even come give us a quote) . No BS, just solid workmanship and amazing service.
What can I say? Not only was this one of the best company/service I've ever had, Chris was extremely honest and genuine. He explained everything and gave me every possible situation that could be wrong with my system. He was exceptional and definitely went above and beyond to fix our issues. No complaints AT ALL!! Found this company on Angie's list and after getting their bid along with others and after talking with Chris I found him to be very knowledgeable and was very helpful in choosing the right equipment for our needs at a fair price and his customer service is second to none if you are in need of heating and cooling Innovative is a great choice Gary Campbell
Chris is very informative and helped me problem solve my HVAC issue over the phone. I was unable to hire him this time because our home is still under warranty but i will absolutely reach back out to him with future needs. He was so helpful that i wanted to leave a review and recommend him to others!
Innovative Mechanical Solutions is top notch! It was the middle of summer and my HVAC system started malfunctioning = 97degree bedroom where my 6 month old couldn't sleep. I called "the pink trucks" and they gave me a huge number to fix it but told me what was really needed was to replace the whole furnace, in a week!!! Ya right! I'm not so easily duped and called around to get a second opinion. Another company recommended Chris @ IMS. He came out in like 1-2 hours and said it wasn't a replacement job, just a burned out motor. He put in a part to get my AC back on while he ordered a new motor and TADA the house started cooling down. He came back to finish the job as promised. Paying was straightforward and itemized. I felt he was honest, practical, and reliable. He treated me like an adult and explained what was going on any my options. I will never call the "pink trucks" again. Innovative Mechanical Solutions will be my first call always. Thank you so much for being "one of the good" businesses in Idaho 💜

Chris is absolutely wonderful. His response time was lightening fast, his explanation of what was wrong and what was needed to repair the a/c unit was easily understood. He finished quickly which was greatly appreciated. He explained his charges (which was greatly appreciated and very reasonable). Besides all of that, Chris is extremely polite and very friendly.
