Had an appointment set up with them for 2pm on a Friday set up two days in advanced for a full heating and air-conditioning installation. . Found them on Angi's list, so I believed they would be professional and I wanted to give the smaller company the business. Friday rolls around and no one showed up for the meeting to discuss the prices or installation. Not even a phone call to cancel or reschedule. I spent my $14,000.00 cash with another company. I had no heat and to not even come out is totally unacceptable. Go with a bigger company that can handle the job.
I came home to a hot house at 9 PM on a Thursday and it was fixed by 10 AM on Friday the next morning. Steve diagnosed the problem and put in a new capacitor for my compressor in just a few minutes. I didn't expect such great service from them in the middle of the summer with this heatwave. Experience, great service and great prices. Thank You Indoor Comfort Systems!
It's been about 6 months since i've had my system now. I reached out to HVAC contractors for 8 months to get quotes to replace my 30 year old gas furnace and ac before I finally selected Indoor Comfort Systems. Rick was friendly, prompt and provided a very fair quote for the work. He was extremely patient with me as I went back and forth between different models as well. The actual install went very well. the crew was extremely professional, cleaned up their mess, wore masks (work was done during covid) and was in general respectful of my family and living space. the american standard furnace fired on and worked great. They came back in late spring to light off the AC and it's been a workhorse in the middle of this heatwave. Can't say enough good things about Rick Brem and his crew. From my initial contact to post install work they have been outstanding. Do not hesitate to have Indoor Comfort Systems do your HVAC work. Honest professionals!
Mr.Brem is the best. I received several estimates for my gas heater and ac installation and, Indoor Comfort Systems stayed within my budget. I have a great Lennox system that's keeping my home warm and, my utility bills have gone down. Steve and, his partner were kind and, did an excellent job. My system was over 20yrs old and, I'm very happy with the completed project. Give Indoor Comfort Systems a call, you won't be disappointed.
Enjoyed working with this team! AC failed and they were helpful in recommending a new product. Quick to come out and worked with us to put in a system we were happy with and matched our existing furnace with a fast and friendly install. Weeks later everything still working great. Would recommend and use their services again.
We used Indoor Comfort Systems (ICS) back in June to install a new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. Very clean installation. It was a pleasure dealing with Rick Brem, the owner. I had read the great reviews on Angie's List and on Google. Combine those with the job he did for my neighbor and I was convinced to put his estimate on the top of the few I had accumulated. He also submitted the manufacturers and PECO rebates for me, so I didn’t have to go through that process. I already recommended ICS to my immediate neighbor for a repair and am recommending them to a work colleague today. Good job, and the house is cool again.
My AC stopped working right in the middle of a Philadelphia heat wave! A neighbor referred Indoor Comfort systems to me so I called them and they came out right away. Steve, the service engineer arrived on time, was able to quickly diagnose, & remedy the problem within an hour. Steve answered all of my questions in the utmost professional and friendly manner. I highly recommend Indoor Comfort Systems to anyone with HVAC issues.

I have been a very satisfied customer of Rick Brem, owner of Indoor Comfort System for at least 40 years. He has serviced two home systems as well as a business including the installation of a complete gas heat and hot water system in my current home approximately 10 years ago. His latest installation was two months ago was a dual air filtering system for my 2 story home. His work has been outstanding. When the PECO inspector came to my home to inspect the complete installation he commented that he had rarely seen such a neatly installed job. I have a service contract which includes two inspections a year. In the 10 years that this system has been in place, I have only had 1 service call when a motor malfunctioned. That is because his biannual inspections are so thorough and I have always accepted his recommendations for any additional repairs. He is reliable and always responds to my questions before the end of the day. I obviously highly recommend Indoor Comfort Systems. They are the BEST and you cannot get any better than that.
I highly recommend Rick Brem and Indoor Comfort Systems. Rick was very responsive, provided detailed quotes, and called to confirm the time he would arrive. The guys did a great job installing my new Lennox gas furnace and A/C unit, and left the house as clean as they found it. Very satisfied with the price, the quality of the installation, and the friendly attitude of all involved.
