If you need a solution to any of your HVAC problems, Adam, the owner of Independent Heating and Cooling is the one to call! We tried turning on our A/C and it was blowing hot air. Adam came within an hour as we live in Gilberts, IL. He found the problem right away with the capacitor. Then, he cleaned our coils and did so much more for us. His service is above and beyond. Price is very, very reasonable. They also offer cash discounts. Quick, knowledgeable, and efficient!
Our A/C stopped working today on the hottest day of the year with a tremendous amount of humidity. Adam answered my phone call himself and to my surprise, he was able to show up within 20 minutes. He came over, looked at our system tested afew things and determined it just needed a capacitor. He fixed it almost immediately and then provided me a very reasonably priced bill. I HIGHLY recommend him for your heating and air conditioning needs!!!
I am very pleased with the services I received from Adam and his team at Independent Heating and Cooling. I called numerous hot-water boiler companies in my area. Adam was the most competent and capable technician I spoke to. He always picked up his phone when I called him and offered prompt and reliable service. Our boiler is an older unit. Adam suggested the possibility of replacing the boiler, but he never pressured me into purchasing a new unit. He patiently explained the benefits and disadvantages of repairing or replacing the unit, answering all of my questions. He gave me all the information I needed to make an educated decision. I asked Adam to repair the boiler. He completed the repairs in record time for a reasonable price. Everything is working seamlessly. I am grateful to Independent Heating and Cooling for our warm and comfortable home. I have Adam's number in my phone for all future heating and cooling service.

Spoke with Adam about a difficult garage heater install. He came out measured what was needed and provided me with an estimate. After agreeing to the price the work began very quickly very clean very professional!! Had a small issue that would come and go i called Independent heating and cooling to let them know and they were out the same day with in a couple hours to diagnose the issue and resolve it!! TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THANK YOU INDEPENDENT HEATING AND COOLING 👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!

I have used Independent Heating and Cooling many times and Adam is always quick to respond and always extremely reasonably priced. He is knowledgeable and never tries to sell me something that I don't need. I always feel confident that Adam's expert opinions are truthful and in my best interest. Adam provides a great service at a very fair price!
Unfortunately the worst service provider I have encountered. Adam of Independent Heating and Cooling literally pounded on my blower motor with a hammer to release it from the blower wheel. Concerned with his hitting the motor with a hammer I offered WD40 or anti seize but he said it would not help. I later learned HVAC providers have a common "pull" tool designed to release the wheel from the motor without damage, a hammer is NOT necessary. The new blower wheel was also installed incorrectly. The rod from the blower motor has a flat side and the screws go in at the 12 and 3 position with 12 crucial as being positioned on the flat side and 3 being on the round side. The proper positioning is critical to secure and balance the wheel to the motor - there is even an installation diagram right on the wheel - but it was still installed wrong. The screws were in the wrong position in relation to the rod's flat side and the wheel was way out of balance. This should be fundamental for a HVAC provider! I had Independent Heating back, expressed my concerns with the noise, and even had them do a PM check because I was really worried. I was told that it was just an old system and I had not noticed all the noise before. I knew this was not correct and was quite frustrated. Days later my heat completely stopped. I called Independent Heating and they never returned my call. I called another HVAC company that was highly recommended and they immediately identified the in-proper installation problem and were dismayed that a HVAC provider would pound on a motor with a hammer. A very frustrating, disappointing and expensive experience with Independent Heating and Cooling.
