I was referred to Tony to replace our old, original heater. He was able to come over quickly for a bid and I found him to be a nice guy with a great sense of humor. He and his crew were on time, efficient and clean. We are planning to get a new air conditioning unit soon and I will definitely use Independent again.
Clint and his crew did full AC upgrade at our home and did an incredible job. Clint was quick to respond, provided a thorough estimate at a very fair price and answered all our questions. They did great work and were very professional. Can't recommend them enough for all your HVAC needs.
If you want a reliable HVAC company, look no further. I had used them in the spring for routine maintenance and they were on time, and easy to work. Then last week when our heater stopped working in the middle of a cold spell, I texted Clint at 9pm and asked him if he could come over ASAP to check the heater. They were at my house at 9 am the next day. Our heater was 25 years old and after they found the problem they said it would be an expensive fix that might not work long term. Tony explained everything to me along with a quote for a new heater. We decided to get the new heater and had it installed 3 days later. They are the nicest guys to work with and I would highly recommend them. Thank you Clint and Tony, our house is nice and toasty now!
When I mentioned to a friend that I was having some airflow issues with my AC unit, she referred me to Clint. The initial problem was immediately fixed, but he was concerned about water dripping from the unit in the attic. The HVAC installer had told my husband and I that the dripping was normal and expected, but when Clint and Tony came back to evaluate it, they found that the installation had been done incorrectly. They fixed the problem and prevented us from having major damage down the road from water possibly leaking through the ceiling. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. I am so grateful I called them!
SERIOUSLY THOUGH!! Ok first off I thought I would never be able to afford A/C except for the funky window units. Since my family is growing I needed to find something more effective than just window junk. So I was referred to this company by a friend for a mini split unit. When he came to give me a quote I was like WHAT? Oh heck yes come ASAP. The day of install they showed up on time, very conscious and respectful of my home and so darn nice to say the least. The end result is EXCELLENT! Very clean sleek work and can I tell you, this is the best money I’ve spent and couldn’t be happier to give it to the nicest company on the west coast. Our A/C unit fan went kaput during a hot and muggy week. With it being a busy time for A/C repair, we were given a week-long wait from one company. Another company came out and quoted us a ridiculous amount to repair our unit. We were referred to Independent Heating and Air by a friend and Clint came out the next morning. Clint was informative and thorough in explaining our repair options and didn't try to just sell us a new system like the other company we had out prior to him. He even gave us some tips on how to optimize our A/C's performance. Clint followed up with getting the necessary part and returned to repair our unit that day. The cost of repairs was reasonable as was the quote they provided for a new system should we decide to upgrade in the near future. We are now happily enjoying our working A/C. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys!
We reached out to Independent Heating and Air, Inc. after we had been quoted $5,000 to repair our air conditioning unit by another company. We were told by the other business that they would have to bring in a crane to lift the unit off our roof and that this would be the charge for the repair. My husband and I were prepared to pay that $$ until a friend referred us to Clint Lewis and Tony Cook of Independent Heating and Air, Inc. They told us they would NOT need a crane and their charge was SUBSTANTIALLY lower than the first estimate. These guys were seasoned contractors and knew what they were talking about with no attempt to overcharge us. Since then we ONLY use them and refer them to all our friends. Highly recommend these guys because they are seasoned, honest professionals.
