Igloo installed our split ac system during construction of our house 4 yrs ago and have since helped maintain and update. We've recommended them over and over .High quality professional service!
Our experience with Igloo AC was a five star experience starting with first phone with project manager. RJ Lowthur was professional, very knowledgeable, and worked around my schedule for our initial site assessment for estimate. I met.with 3 companies and Igloo AC stood out. RJ's recommendations took into consideration our lifestyle, budget, home layout. He pointed out.things the other companies did not. We selected Igloo because of this and because they offered our choice of system (Diakin) which in addition to the manufacturer's 12.yr equipment warranty, Igloo AC had an extended 18 month equipment failure and workmanship by Igloo. The install team was on time, friendly, did excellent work installing one unit on hollow tile using brackets so it was.not.blocking walkway, the other on single wall tongue & groove. Team took their time to ensure it was done well, answered all my questions and left the house as they found it--but cooler! Highly recommended!

It was a pleasure working with RJ, very knowledgeable and professional. Installers cleaned up thoroughly when done, and after exploring several options the electrician was able to put in the additional line through and existing conduit. I was impressed by the workmanship of the team, finished product works well and looks great!
I tried to use this business… Bought a house last year. Had a very trustworthy handyman do some small repairs around my home, he recommended igloo AC for maintenance and cleaning. Made an appointment for 11 Feb 2023 at 10 am. Since I didn’t get an email or any notification about upcoming services, I reached out via email to the owner the evening before to inquire about the appointment time at 10 AM. I got an email back, saying his tech is not feeling well and that we’ll schedule for next week. I emailed on the 11th in the morning asking if we can get it done sooner than the following Saturday and that unforeseen circumstances are a part of life and I understand it. Fast forward to today the 18th I just got off the phone with the project manager for igloo AC and he has been in the field all week and hasn’t gotten his emails and that he was in the office today and he would get to it. Things fall through the cracks as he mentioned, with a half hearted apology and no solution to the lack of communication and follow through. I will not be using this business. I wish good fortune to those who use igloo AC moving forward. Please do better for the next people.
I highly recommend Igloo for any Air Conditioning Installation or Electrical work. The team was timely, clean, professional, and went above & beyond what was expected installing a new system in a 40 year old home. Even after installation was complete, they made the extra effort to come back and make adjustments. We really appreciate their work and they have our highest recommendation!!
IGLOO AC…. What can I say but THANK YOU! We stumbled into a home improvement show on a random Saturday and met the owner RJ. A very knowledgeable and thorough person. From the walkthrough to the final installation nothing but PROFESSIONAL. The entire team at Igloo AC was so easy to work with and we would recommend them 10 out of 10 times. Each person was not only knowledgeable but took the time to explain anything we had questions on. After the team left, we noticed that our electrical was tripping more often. This was a concern since it had never happened before. I called RJ and within hours his electrician was at our doorstep. He explained that since our home was built in the 80’s the newer breakers that he installed were more sensitive than the older ones, which means if the breaker was being overloaded it would automatically trip to prevent a spark or even a fire. Their electrician even rewired our microwave to go on its own breaker. They literally saved our Thanksgiving since the electrical was tripping in the kitchen. The time he took to complete the job in one day was a Godsend. RJ, your customer service is first class and greatly appreciated. You truly do treat your customers as family. We will be recommending Igloo AC to all our family, friends, and coworkers. If you need an AC my family and I recommend you go with IGLOO AC, you will not regret your decision. We strongly recommend Igloo AC! They did a fantastic job installing our Ductless a/c mini-split system. There was absolutely zero drywall repair needed afterwards which was a huge relief. Greg, Bernie, Spencer & Andrew were a top notch crew! We couldn’t be happier & we are fussy, as we’re in the electrical industry! Thank you so much RJ & company!
We just had our Daikin unit cleaned today for the first time. Igloo ac installed it in 2021. It was one of the services that RJ said was available when we had them install our Daikin. The tech who cleaned it was really professional, did a through job on the unit and left the area spotless and the price was reasonable. We will be calling Igloo ac again when it’s time to replace our other ac unit or when we need another cleaning.
Igloo has worked on a couple of projects for my clients' properties that I manage and have done professional work. Easy to communicate with and their prices are reasonable.

I've used them twice to install several Daikin A/Cs in my house. They made sure everything worked, explained how to use, and cleaned up after themselves.
They made the process simple. Told them what I wanted. They communicated on what they will do and when. They stayed on schedule and installed everything as requested. The quality of workmanship was very good
When I chose “Great Value”, it was not just the material. It was also the people who got this done for us. From the start with RJ, getting us setup for time and date of installation. And at the end with their team showing us how cool the air feels and cleaning up. The electrician fixed a hazard that we had no idea of and he didn’t have to do that. That is great service. If you want great and quality service, give RJ and his team at Igloo AC. They will respond back, quick. You will not be disappointed. I know my family and I are not and we can sleep and feel cool. RJ is one of the most professional and responsive folks I have ever worked with. His team was spectacular, friendly, and professional. He's just one of those guys that shows up to do a job and you talk to him for 2 to 3 minutes and you can just tell that he has the best interest of you and your family at heart. He was meticulous and describing what AC units I would need. I had a nightmare power panel that was out of specs with multiple double taps and not up to code. RJ tackled the job both professionally and competently. The time he estimated was on point, his workers arrived on time, and they just got it done. Pricing was extremely reasonable considering I got some other quotes. I would recommend him and his team without reservation!

Igloo AC was amazing. We had three ac units installed over a year ago. RJ met with me multiple times and went over good locations to install and several different options. He communicated exactly the plan and set a date about a month or so out from our meeting to allow the units to get shipped. When the time came, his crew arrived on time, and were extremely professional and efficient. They also have one of the best electricians I have met. They completed the job on time and we were psyched with the installation. Fast forward to now. The units have run perfectly, and we keep them on 24/7 to maintain humidity. Only confusing part is our electrical bill is super low. Through the year it stays around $300. We have lived in town and in other places on island, with window units and central ac and our electrical bills would shoot up. The units are amazing. We spent a little bit more on the high seer Fujitsu units and are very happy.
We have two Mitsubishi units but only one finally died. I called several places to get an estimate. RJ came over and did an inspection and then gave us his opinion on the different brands of ac available. He sent us emails with estimates for both of our ac units even though he knew we were only changing one. He also gave us estimates on a Mitsubishi and a Daikin, I didn’t want any other brands. We decided to go with the Daikin. We paid half down and waited for the installation. They came on time and were very friendly and courteous. The younger guy had a little trouble installing our indoor unit, but the older guy took over because after he checked it, he wasn’t satisfied, he wanted it perfect. Sign of someone who cares about their work. Left the house and outside clean. I’ll be. Calling them when it’s time to clean our unit.
Great service, professional, prompt, & great value for the money. They were the only ones that agreed to come to the Windward North Shore on short notice. They took extra efforts to squeeze me into their busy schedule. KUDOS! Mahalo Igloo AC...
