I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with ICB AIR CONDITIONING & APPLIANCES due to their strict policy of not accepting credit cards. As a modern consumer accustomed to the convenience and security offered by credit card transactions, this policy felt incredibly outdated and inconvenient. First and foremost, it is important to note that we live in a digital age where credit cards have become a standard method of payment. Most businesses, both big and small, understand the importance of accommodating their customers' preferences and offer multiple payment options. However, ICB AIR CONDITIONING & APPLIANCES seems to be stuck in the past, unwilling to adapt to the changing times. To my surprise, after telling me the cost of the repair and I agreeing to pay it even with the 2% charge for using a credit card that I was told, they called me back and informed me that they only accept cash. This instantly put me in a bind as I was all set to have the work done after spending three nights in my hot house. I am not happy as now I've got to contact another company to do the work which means additional days without air. Aside from the personal inconvenience, the company's refusal to accept credit cards also sends a negative message to its customers. It comes across as a lack of trust in their clientele or a disregard for the modern consumer's needs. It's disappointing to see a company that fails to recognize the importance of convenience and customer satisfaction. In an age where digital payments and online transactions have become the norm, it is genuinely surprising to encounter a business that refuses to accept credit cards. Such a policy limits the company's potential customer base and alienates those who prefer the ease and security that credit card transactions offer. Please look no further, ICB Air Conditioning and Appliances, LLC is the right choice if you are experiencing problems with your air conditioner. For me, they installed a new AC unit for an unbelievable price. These two men, are honest, aim to please, and professional. In short, they get the job done. I am pleased and love that they also provided me with a warranty and registered my unit.
