We've been using HVAC of Texas since 2020. We had been living in our homenfor 2 years and realized that time had gotten away from us and we had not had our system serviced since moving in. At the time, we were experiencing cooling issues but weren't really sure what the problem was or how to explain it. So we called and spoke to Daniel (the owner) to set up an appt for maintenance. He was able to come same day and service our system. On his first visit, he started by checking out the system. When he got to the outside unit, he noticed that all the caps had been removed from the coolant area and we had lost quite a bit of coolant. He recharged our system and also mentioned that the capacitor needed replacing. After that, we have not had a cooling issue with the system. Fast forward a year and one morning I woke up to water dripping out of the pipe at my front door and a waterfall coming out of the exchange grill in the ceiling of my kitchen. I quickly called HVAC pf Texas and Daniel came out same day (literally within hours ofy call) and blew out my drainline. We had no idea what plumbing the drainline was connected to until after he left but he didbwarn us that when we find it there will probably be a mess to clean up...and he wasn't wrong. Later in the day I went into our master bath and found out where it drained. And he was right...there was a huge mess. We now have HVAC of Texas come out every spring to make sure the system is working properly. Daniel is very professional and polite. We will continue to use them and recommend HVAC of Texas to everyone.
We hired HVAC of Texas to install a mini-split ac unit in our log cabin in Rio Frio, TX as part of the BEC Energy Saver Program. Daniel was professional, friendly and thoroughly explained the entire process before, during and after the installation. Daniel made this project and installation experience easy, stress-free and gave us great peace of mind knowing we got the absolute best unit and service for our investment. I bought a home that had been foreclosed and sat vacant for a long time. The central heat/air were trashed. I am older and disabled so there was no way I could even bend down to look under the home to see what shape the duct work was in. I had checked with several companies, including those advertising "specials" and they were beyond my affordability and could not work around my work schedule. I went through severe seasons of freezing and extreme heat because of those factors. I was so pleased with not only the affordability of HVAC of Texas' brand new systems, much less than I had been quoted by others. The entire process from estimate to final took less than 2 days and did not require me to lose time from work. Dan went well above what I had expected. He was even nice enough to notice and reconnect my clothes dryer exhaust hose while he was under the house. He took pictures so that I could see not only his work but everything else that was under there. The new heat and a/c systems are attractive and my quality of life has greatly improved, thank's to the professional and quality work of this company.
Very reasonably priced , knowledgeable of the equipment he works on, won't try and up sell like most a/c company do. I use HVAC of Texas several times as they are my a/c company for an apartment complex. Very honest and always on time ! Couldn't ask for more. Would highly highly recommend!

Unlike most companies in the area, HVAC of Texas did not try to sell us anything we did not need. The technician showed us all of our available options and let us choose the equipment and installation that worked best for us. They respond immediately to any warranty work, and go the extra mile to make sure that the customer comes first. We definitely recommend this company.

I met Daniel years ago on an overseas project. He knew how to repair or install any HVAC equipment or refrigeration appliance on site. He was consitant, had a good work ethic and understanding of getting along with a team or working alone, and interfaced with the customer very well.

He was able to check the system thoroughly and treat the drain line so they won’t get clogged up. For service, repair, or installation, there’s nobody better than HVAC of Texas in the hill country region
