I talked a lot with Kevin prior to finally deciding to go ahead with this job. Kevin was always responsive, available, and willing to talk things through with me and explain my options. I never felt any kind of "hard sell" - and there was no BS - just honest talk, and Kevin is very easy to talk with and friendly. After making the decision to have him do this project for us (to remove and replace our existing furnace and central A/C units), Kevin worked with me to arrange a suitable time; and once we set it, Kevin stuck to the timeline - in fact, he completed the job slightly sooner than anticipated. Kevin and his associate were thoroughly professional, courteous, and friendly; they worked a long, hard day (they got most of it done that first day); then Kevin came back the 2nd day to wrap things up. The system works wonderfully, is much quieter, and looking at it Kevin did a fantastic job (he was able to turn things to have the furnace face front (the old furnace was installed sideways, which made access very difficult). Kevin knows what he is doing, and he is someone who is honest and trustworthy. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of Kevin's work for us. We recommend him highly.
Hughes Mechanical installed a heat pump, a humidifier, a furnace and a new thermostat. The company owner worked with the installer throughout the process. They took the time to see that each component was installed correctly, each component integrates with all other components, and the thermostat is simple to use and controls the entire system.
Called Kevin and he came right over and repaired our tankless water heater immediately. Can't ask for any better service than.

Hughes replace or old thankless system with a new high efficiency modle. He explained all the options, there was no pressure. After install the system was explained to me. We will know more about the system after a couple of weeks use.
Kevin helped us trouble-shoot and make a plan to replace an old heating system in our apartment. Very straight-forward and honest, helping us to look at all the options when the heat went out during a nasty cold snap. Highly recommended!

I've had several extremely positive experiences with Hughes Mechanical over the years. Kevin is one of the most knowledgeable and honest contractors I've worked with. For the second time (once primary residence, once rental property), he saved me a bunch of money fixing my AC when I was ready to replace the unit. When it is time to replace these, I will 100% be calling Kevin. I highly recommend!
KEVIN is very friendly and kind. He will do the an awesome job and charge the right price. He is the only one I trust to work on my apartments as well at my home. He just install a mini split at my home. Home depot ask me for over 15k. Kevin charge me 5k .
