I am so grateful for Mr. Harris. I wish I had received his referral before spending money with another repairman. I was reluctant to call another small business man in fear of being taken advantage of, but I called Honest repair anyway. He came out promptly and gave me his diagnostic findings and I was not happy. My unit was bone dry in spite of just having coolant replaced a few days prior by someone else. I hesitated, got another opinion, and more referrals before I felt confident enough to proceed. I called Mr. Harris back and set a date to replace my unit. Very professional service. I recommended and will definitely use again.
Honest Repair Heating and Air, owner C. Harris (Swiki) supposedly replaced antifreeze/coolant in my AC unit. With the weather going back and forth, hot one day and cold the next, I really didn't get to run my AC that much. Also, I usually keep my thermostat between 73 degrees and 76 degrees. However, after one month my AC stop cooling again. I sent him a picture of my thermostat letting him know my AC was not cooling again. He replied, "what u want me to do"? Not very good choice of words for responding when you are dealing with your customers. After waiting at least a week, I finally decided to call another repairman whom I was referred to, Mr. Brinson. Mr. Brinson came out and looked at my AC, stated there was no coolant. I told him I just had coolant placed in the AC less than a month ago. He put the pressure gage on the AC left it a couple of days to check for any leaks. When Mr. Brinson came back he reported there were no leaks inside or outside from the coils that could have caused me to loose coolant. I called Honest Repair while Mr. Brinson was there to explain the situation regarding my AC. Honest Repair owner didn't try to work things out as far as replacing my coolant nor any of my money. He claimed it was not his imperfection and he placed coolant in the AC. So I asked what happened to it? Tried to say someone stole my coolant from my AC. I am very disappointed with the turn out of this situation. I've spent a little over $1,000 in less than two months on coolant. When you out there scamming people, your business will not prosper for long. Honest Repair charged me for seven pounds of coolant ($720). I was later told my AC does not hold seven pounds of coolant and was proven that my AC holds about five pounds of coolant. I was scammed, DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!
I cannot recommend this company enough. Mr. Harris is the owner and operator. We had to have our ducts replaced after a rodent issue this past winter. He provided fantastic service, was communicative, really quick response, and competitive rates, better than most with a one-year warranty on labor. Highly, highly recommend.
Honest Repair came to inspect and repair my A/C unit and had professional and quality service. After another company charged me excessive amounts for multiple freon deliveries which didn’t fix my issue, Honest Repair simply noticed my drain pan needed to be straightened ensuring the easiest and most cost effective fix. I have had no issues since. A great company to work with!
