My home warranty chose this company. The warranty has approved repair work, however neither my warranty company nor Home Shield has not contacted us to follow up. I have called and emailed both businesses with nothing back. I understand everyone is busy, but any understanding about what is going on would help in this 108 degree weather.
My heat went out last night around 8: pm and John and his team had my heat back on and running by 11: am the following day. I was very impressed with how quick they got to my home and got my heat back up. Highly recommend them.
Our Air Conditioner in our house was having issues in a home we just purchased in January of this year. We had a home warranty so we called them to get the claim started. They directed us to Homeshield to do the repairs. The repair person came out to our home a few days later. He determined that we needed freon and there was a coil that was bad (forgive me if I don't get the right terminology). He said we needed to call the home warranty company to discuss the follow-up repairs. We did so immediately. The Home Warranty company ordered the part required in coordination with Homeshield. Thats where the trouble started. A month later, still no word on the repairs. We called our warranty company and they informed us they did order the part and they were still waiting for Homeshield to pick it up. They said they had left several messages, sent emails and heard NOTHING back. We tried to call Homeshield. No answer. Two months down the road and we are STILL waiting. No communication whatsoever from Homeshield. Today, we demanded that our Home Warranty company get us another AC company and they agreed. So we are starting the entire repair process all over again. Homeshield in Shreveport is TOTALLY UNRELIABLE, fails to return calls or follow-up with us at all. I would recommend anyone consider working with them BEWARE. They wasted our time.
Kyle came to our home recently on a service call through our home warranty agreement. He arrived early (checking first to make sure that was okay), confirmed everything that was wrong, and went above and beyond to make sure it was fixed and running properly before leaving.
