This isn't an independent repair contractor. They will send out a guy with multiple phone numbers on the side of the truck and actually works for a large repair company with high prices. $335 bill for a 15 minute, I can't fix this diagnosis.
Tom is great! Fixed my tenants furnace in literally 2 minutes. He got here in 25 minutes, explained what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it and why it happened. He then showed us some things to look out for in the future. When I asked how much for the visit, he told me and then let me know about a coupon online that saved me $30 Fast and professional. He is now our "guy". I highly recommend!!
I now know why they only have 5 stars!!!! I called Tom (owner) last night at 10pm to help me with my thermostat. First he was trying to be helpful and just walk me through resolution over the phone... needless to say HVAC is out of my wheelhouse...Once we figured out I couldn't solve myself, Tom offered stopping by on his way home from work. He quickly assessed the issue and fixed it while also walking me through everything so I can be more useful in the future. Lastly, if it weren't bad enough he was at my house at 10:30 at night, he gave me a discount for the service. Honestly, I can't say enough about how incredible the service and attention was. I wish there were more businesses out there like Home Heating and Cooling! You should use Tom for all of your HVAC needs in the future!!!

I did not have any work completed by Tom, however, I am qualified to write a review because of the time and money that he saved me! I called and got Tom on the phone explained my issue with my boiler and instead of scheduling a service call he gave me some things that I should try first myself to solve the issue. His advice worked and I go my heat on! Not many service people would take the time to troubleshoot over the phone and not take the work. Thanks Tom! He will be my first call when I get A/C installed in my home.- Noel G.

First service guy that came out since I bought my place that could quickly identify the problem and fix without making extra trips. Tom was very knowledgeable, could translate lingo into words I can understand. He was patient and answered all my questions and best of all they were reasonably priced! Would definitely go to them again.
Tom, the owner, is fantastic to work with - prompt, professional and extremely fair in pricing. He even waived the diagnostic fee when our HVAC issue turned out to be a plumbing issue.
Our air conditioner was making a strange sound. Called Four Seasons -- who had worked on the system in the past -- they diagnosed the problem and quoted me nearly $900 for the repair. I called Tom who gave me the "blue book" quote -- which was $400 cheaper. Tom came out the next day and made the repair. Couldn't be happier with the service -- and the honest pricing.
Home heating and cooling was great. They came out same day, they were on time, super easy to deal with. Also, they spent time explaining what they were going to do and what was wrong with my AC. What I thought was really amazing is that they didn't try and sell me stuff I didn't need. They charged a very fair price for wonderful service. I'm giving a 5 star review of this honest, timely, respectful and helpful company. They are my new go to heating and air condition company!!
They were the only ones answering their phones after the recent heat and storms, extremely pleasant and knowledgable. I look forward to working with them.

I had an emergency water leak in my air handler, and Tom came out on a Sunday to take care of it. He was fast, efficient, found and corrected the problem. I appreciate the Sunday service and good work. I will definitely use this company again.

I called Tom on a Monday night and he was able to come by my place within an hour. My AC would not turn on and I could not figure out what was the cause. Tom quickly noticed a switch was in the off position in my HVAC closet. It took a minute to diagnose and fix. Since the solution was so simple he did not charge a visit. THANK YOU!!! I will now be a loyal customer of Home Heating and Cooling. (Also on Yelp he has a in home visit coupon for $65, which is a great deal when I usually pay $95 with my old company to come for an annual check-up)
