Driving on 78 with my father and 3 year old son one of the drivers couldn't handle our speed and decided to almost run us off the road. VERY rude. Especially since my son was in the car. No need for that. There is never anywhere you have to be that is worth being that careless driving.
Manny was so quick to respond this morning! I wasn't expecting to hear back from anyone since it's Mother's Day. He was here very quickly and got things up and running for us since our heat wasn't working. The guys are always so Friendly and Professional! Definitely a Trustworthy bunch of guys and highly recommend!

I was looking for an HVAC professional to replace my current provider, whose business model shifted away from service. In an attempt to steer clear from large companies with high overhead and marketing budgets, I Googled to find smaller, owner-operated companies. I settled on Home Comfort And Beyond after initial phone calls with a hand full of companies that landed on my short list. Boy, am I glad I did! Arranged for them to do an (overdue) maintenance service on my EFM oil-fired boiler. Eric Mumbauer, one of the two owners (Manny is the other), arrived promptly. He went right to work and I was glad to see he brought in and used a vacuum to clean the soot out of the fire box (something I have seen folks skip in the past), in addition to the usual nozzle, filter changes (oil tank and pump screen), and other checks/adjustments. Well done and thorough - he was on site, working diligently, for 1.5 hours. Eric welcomed chit-chat as he worked; found out that he is a 20+ year veteran of one of the 'big guy' HVAC companies in the Lehigh Valley who decided to go out on his own. I admire that entrepreneurship, as well as his straight-shooter mentality - no b.s. upsells on 'suggested' repairs that I knew I didn't need (I do have some HVAC acumen). Manny and he have been at it for 4 or 5 years now and are selective in who they add to their team. His pricing was appropriate to where HC&B fits in the marketplace and an excellent value for a quality of work that is generally not replicated by the larger, volume-driven, companies. I believe they install Weil McLain and Tempstar (ICP) equipment. I am a Trane/American Standard guy, however I will certainly use HC&B for all of my future service needs. No doubt at all. I have already recommended them to both my best friend and my parents. As they say, word-of-mouth advertising is the best compliment of all!
This is the first Google review I have ever posted but felt compelled to do so after working with Manny & Eric. Their service is absolutely the best I have encountered in any business. Prompt and affordable. Stop your search and call these guys for your heating and air conditioning needs. I replaced air conditioner this summer. I will only make one call when it’s time for the furnace and that will be to these guys.
This is truly a 5 star company. They always respond timely. This alone puts them “beyond” the rest. The installs are literally perfection. Everything is straight and neat. I can’t remember a time they couldn’t answer a question I had. They do not price gouge and they will treat you well. Don’t pay for the other companies billboard s. Call Home Comfort.....
Great service! Eric and his team came asap when my heat wasnt working. Was at my house within a half hour of calling and had my heat working again in no time at all. Very respectful. Very kind and professional. Recommending to all my friends and coworkers. Thanks again Eric!
We recently moved to the area from overseas, and were referred to Home Comfort & Beyond. They arrived when they said they would come, were very professional and did a great job to repair the things I needed done; vented my dryer, fixed a pipe that was split and leaking, and serviced my HVAC unit. They don’t try to sell services that you don’t need and their prices are fair. Two thumbs up for these guys, very pleased with their work!
