Mike always try’s to repair rather then replace air conditioners. Honest and reliable. 5 stars isn’t enough. I give him 20+ stars.

We asked Mike to come to our house to get a quote for a home expansion project. Before our appointment date, our AC started acting up. Mike was able to handle both tasks on the same day. He quickly diagnosed the issue with our unit, got the part, and completed the work all in the same day. He was friendly, informative, and quick. We sincerely appreciate him going the extra mile and HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone needing HVAC work completed!
Mike is the man! We moved into a house with a 30+ year old HVAC unit and he helped us limp the unit along until we could get a new one. He almost always tries to come out the same day we call so we aren't with a working unit even if it means coming after hours. Can't recommend him enough!

I called Mike Hollister for an HVAC (heat pump) repair. We had our heat pump go out due to an electrical issue. I first called Service Experts because we have a maintenance contract with them. They gave a quote to fix it for $1500.00 but they wouldn't even recommend fixing it because they wouldn't be sure it would work! They recommended instead that I get the whole thing replaced and of course were happy to send out a sales technician. I found Mike after looking around the internet because I wanted a second opinion. He said he would check it out during normal business hours without even charging a diagnostic fee. He was very friendly and willing to spend the time to look into finding a real solution to the problem and not just an upsell. He fixed it in a little over an hour with only one new part. Most of the items that Service experts wanted to replace were not even damaged. The total price was less than $300. He is both honest and very competent at his job and the price was fair. I would definitely recommend him.
Mike was fantastic to work with! We were able to get an appointment with him on the same day we called, he was on time and finished the job on the same day as well. We had an estimate from another company wanting $900 for labor only, to repair our fan and relay on our air conditioning unit. We got a second opinion from Hollister Air/ Mike. He was honest about the repair, explained what needed to be done and saved us $700. I would recommend Mike over the big companies any day! He was professional, friendly and above all honest.

We have hired Mike for a couple different properties now and each time have been so happy with his work. For one of our projects, another company had come out and quoted us over $1500 for a repair but when Mike looked at it for a second opinion, he let us know the part to repair it was actually free from the manufacturer and only charged us a small fee to replace it. He has also worked to make sure another warranty coverage was seamless in the process of repair. Mike is friendly. knowledgeable, responsive, and you can tell he really enjoys serving his customers with excellence.
